That's the proof they have that Dallas Jones was arrested. Did you even look?

2020-11-17 05:03:35 UTC

And no authorities in that entire region have any idea what this tinfoil rag is talking about.

2020-11-17 05:05:33 UTC

Tell you what, look at anything else they have published and come back. Hell, please at least look at the one you've already accepted without discernment.

2020-11-17 05:06:17 UTC

That's exactly my point. I wanted to collaborate this story. With any reliable source. And i have not seen it. I guess i will ask my friend that lives in Houston if they have seen or heard anything.

2020-11-17 05:06:45 UTC

Please do.

2020-11-17 05:07:18 UTC

Of course. I don't jump on any story that is questionable.

2020-11-17 05:47:43 UTC

Sorry, I shouldn't have become frustrated. I just wish we could skip past the pageantry of dismantling the frivolous stuff and get straight to the 'China' terminus...although I know that's still a ways off.

2020-11-17 05:50:40 UTC

Well there is a story by abc13 houston news out of Kilgore Texas. 134 indictments against a commissioner 3 others

2020-11-17 05:51:07 UTC

On fraud and other charges

2020-11-17 05:52:27 UTC

> get straight to the 'China' terminus
@Zuluzeit good luck with that, I keep waiting for one of these lawsuits to tell us something, to come up with some real evidence and so far we're still waiting

2020-11-17 05:53:42 UTC

That is a big deal. I wonder how that will playout in the national scheme.

2020-11-17 05:53:44 UTC

@mtpockets59 That story is from September.

2020-11-17 05:56:32 UTC

Yes i seen the date of the article. But i don't see any resolution to it or where they are in the process.

2020-11-17 05:57:36 UTC

@meglide I know. And we will continue to wait and continue get nothing but a pile of fake news. I just want them to fall back on blaming China because I think that's the last stop. I can live with that, as long as we move on.

2020-11-17 06:02:18 UTC

Move on to what ? Biden will be inept and Trump will be bullish and bragging but get something done. It will end this won't end even after January 20th. I think we will separate even more in the next 4 years. And that depends on the Senate race on January 5th. I think that is the real race.

2020-11-17 06:46:46 UTC

Except I don't like what he 'gets done'. 4 years, 2 years with majority in both houses, and what got done was tax rewards for holding infrastructure in China with no covenants to draw it down. An imbalanced SCOTUS, which I hate in either direction (so should anyone imo.) 63 EPA regulations on the chopping block while introducing precisely none. A reneged healthcare reform promise which may have been a dodged bullet (we'll never know.) A failed border wall, which is the one thing of which I would have approved. Bowing to enemies and giving our friends the rear view of it, making us universally perceived as both dubious partner and somehow also laughing stock. Planting anti-science and anti-medicine poison in credulous people. Demonizing half of the country at every opportunity which, even if justified, is not befitting the dignity or purpose of the office and exhibits divisiveness by definition. And on and on. You can argue whether any of those things are good or bad but they are, in fact, things and I don't like them.

If you genuinely think the liberal policy mind is limited to 'Orange man bad', you're projecting your own hyper-tribalism. I don't care whether Biden does a damned thing, as long as he's not perpetuating the policies listed above with which I do not agree and not further undermining the credibility and dignity of the office. It's not because of spite for one person...but because it's what I believe in.

Moreover, if your faith in or consent to our system is predicated upon whether you get your way, I submit that you're missing the point of the system. Egregiously so.

hahah steve i watched that

2020-11-17 21:46:35 UTC

Best reality tv in years

2020-11-17 21:48:40 UTC

I am watching it and it is disturbing with the weighted system.

2020-11-17 23:13:45 UTC

I find it hard to believe that weighting was used

2020-11-17 23:14:12 UTC

and that if weighting capability exists as claimed, I find it hard to believe that it isn't _obviously_ auditable

2020-11-17 23:14:30 UTC

i.e you can see the weights transparently together with the final counts

2020-11-17 23:15:02 UTC

what is the point of abusing "weights" ... any recount would reveal the subterfuge ...

2020-11-17 23:18:05 UTC

I agree to a certain extent, but if you cheat enough you can avoid recounts...?

Either way I'm fascinated at the possibility that with big data analytics we may be able to come up with an election baseline that may be able to highlight problems that can be examined in greater detail

2020-11-17 23:18:58 UTC

> I agree to a certain extent, but if you cheat enough you can avoid recounts...?

I guess, but my point is that this is easily remedied; recounts will show it or won't show it

2020-11-17 23:19:22 UTC

I'm all for recounts

2020-11-17 23:19:56 UTC

another point though is ... if you are caught you face hard time, and this is something that is so easily checked

2020-11-17 23:20:22 UTC

the ballots are all there

2020-11-17 23:20:28 UTC

Dominion is basically a fancy bean counter

2020-11-17 23:20:57 UTC

Are they though? In some locations the ballot images are counted then deleted

2020-11-17 23:21:39 UTC

pretty sure they have to remain around for recounts and audits and the like
