Any sufficiently funded attacker should have been able to cover their tracks and kept it within the margin of error on each machine since they were connected to the internet on municipality routers (read: easily broken firewalls).

And we already know that a discrepancy of 1000's of votes in a county has no impact when audited.

They had their chance. They could have gone after validating signatures in real audits and tracked them down based on down ballot issues to show that "yes, mail in ballot fraud is an issue as has been acknowledged by every 1st world democratic society on earth"
