@Beth welcome to the club. I have been watching the mental health in populus go down the drain now for 20 years.
@Beth There are good and bad reporters on both sides of the political spectrum. I find that that finding common ground requires both parties acknowledging that there is not one definitive "good and reliable" source on anything. So much of what is in the media is subjective on both sides. You're never going to be able to convince someone that their preferred source is garbage saying that yours is pristine. That's just my opinion. Getting someone to try it your way may require you trying it there's. If you both do it with open minds, you both might learn something.
