I get your feelings about the political divide and the point you are making about equity, but bashing the South takes away from your other salient viewpoints, in my opinion. I think we can all stipulate that each side of the divide - as it exists today - feel on some level they would be better off without the other. Of course, I would prefer to not have to go through customs each time I wanted to visit DisneyWorld or Bourbon Street.
