Col powell did the same thing

2020-11-28 23:43:32 UTC

Actually the article's interpretation kinda swifts to its opinion, claiming it was "the most smoothly run election" ever. You can't really confidently say that, nor would I think Robert claim that. The article also claims a very limited exception in the event of a "failed" election, that's pretty broad to interpretation and not just how this article sees fit.

Ppl see thru the games

2020-11-28 23:44:10 UTC

There lies the problem all crooked

2020-11-28 23:44:22 UTC

Yeah that’s the stuff I want . What kind of corruption was she involved in @robxtom

2020-11-28 23:44:37 UTC

Something unique to HRC

2020-11-28 23:44:53 UTC

same one who gave false testimony to congress in 2001 that linked Saddam Hussein to the 9/11 terrorist attacks?

2020-11-28 23:44:59 UTC

The whole system is crooked

2020-11-28 23:45:23 UTC

What wasn’t she involved in

2020-11-28 23:45:27 UTC

Acid washing her emails after getting a subpoena. Starting the Russian collusion conspiracy theory. Very clear

2020-11-28 23:45:39 UTC

Man sure is weird all these FBI officials returning their phones just happened to all be wiped clean of any useful data.

2020-11-28 23:45:44 UTC

Yeah but people hate people for more than just run of the mill corruption. What was she uniquely involved in @busillis

2020-11-28 23:45:51 UTC

But I'm sure they were acting in the best interests of you.

2020-11-28 23:46:03 UTC

That may be, but we'll see how strong that base is after this plays out. Traditional Republicans are very big on things like maintaining the dignity of the office. They may be beholden to him while he holds the reins, but it will be interesting to see how loyal his coalition is if they lose the Presidency and possibly the Senate - especially since he has done little to make sure that doesn't happen. Also, if Trump manages to get huge numbers of ballots thrown out of states, there are down ballot implications, too. We might be seeing several do-over elections to settle the down ballot seats and measures.

2020-11-28 23:46:05 UTC

@Maw is that unique?

2020-11-28 23:46:10 UTC

Sadly probably not any more than the rest

2020-11-28 23:46:12 UTC

Ironically the same guy who wrote the report on Russian Collusion was the same guy who fabricated similar evidence that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction

2020-11-28 23:46:23 UTC

That's not a good thing

2020-11-28 23:46:27 UTC

Does it have to be unique?

2020-11-28 23:46:35 UTC

Never implied something was unique.

2020-11-28 23:46:46 UTC

You mean mueller?

2020-11-28 23:46:46 UTC

@robxtom, you just advanced to level 5!

2020-11-28 23:46:48 UTC

@Adam135 I wasn’t am aware of that . I know very little about col Powell except he was supposed to run for president

2020-11-28 23:46:55 UTC

Well it certainly looks like they're caught between a rock and a hard place.

2020-11-28 23:46:59 UTC

yes

2020-11-28 23:47:20 UTC

FBI is corrupt. James comey prob learned it from him

2020-11-28 23:47:27 UTC

well never say never but certainly now is as good as a time as any and better than most ... application is not hard, you need to show you got the academic chops to succeed, transcripts, recommendation letters, maybe need to take the GRE, maybe not ... but picking the right school, the right program and most importantly the right advisor (who will help you pick the right committee) is the key ... also consider that at some point you'll have all the requirements for a master's degree and you'll want to pick that up along the way ... my degrees are in engineering and a master's degree is worth the opportunity cost, if there's a non-thesis option to get a master's that is what you want ... six months to a year after you graduate no employer cares about your thesis or your GPA, by then you're either making them money or not

2020-11-28 23:47:27 UTC

He was at some point, but seeing as he submitted to Cheney, that will really hurt his chances

2020-11-28 23:47:39 UTC

@Maw well I am trying to get to why HRC was hated by both sides. It must be for something specific to her and some unique kind of corruption

2020-11-28 23:47:58 UTC

She's a figurehead for establishment democrats.

2020-11-28 23:48:15 UTC

Yeah and she screwed over Bernie

2020-11-28 23:48:23 UTC

What the average person off the street gets the security clearance I have to fill out a 128 page life history under the penalty of law followed up by a lengthy investigation.

2020-11-28 23:48:23 UTC

All it was saying is that the Constitution says that the determination of electors has to take place on 11/3. If the legislature intervenes afterwards and tries to determine the electors after that, there is a US Constitutional argument against that.

2020-11-28 23:48:27 UTC

What I really want to know, is if post-pandemic will the Dems fight to keep in major use of mail-in balloting

2020-11-28 23:48:43 UTC

She was just acting in America's best interest, obviously. No corruption there.

2020-11-28 23:49:20 UTC

Doing good by doing well

2020-11-28 23:49:27 UTC

(I am being sarcastic)

2020-11-28 23:49:42 UTC

I got that

2020-11-28 23:49:58 UTC

I know why the right hates her. They had been hounding her with politically motivated investigations for years. The only reason I can think of on the left is that she screwed over Bernie. However there are some establishment left wing media pundits that would tell you different

2020-11-28 23:49:59 UTC

but the article also says there is an exception in a "failed" election. Which is pretty broad to interpretation. Which is why they are trying to cast DOUBT on the integrity of the election.

2020-11-28 23:50:24 UTC

There are 6 states that use use universal mail-in ballots, I believe. Mine is one of them.
