I'm currently trusting foreign prediction markets the most

2020-11-30 05:29:08 UTC

but they do miss a lot of legal detail

2020-11-30 05:29:08 UTC

@james j I actually tried to get one of those Kraken salads today all sushi places seem to be closed.

@nachik Here in CA, we have been largely accepting of the restriction in order to keep the hospitalization rate down. We have around 24m people in southern CA - 3.2m in Orange County where I live. The greater London area is a densely populated area. Do your people share any of the concerns about minimizing the impact to the healthcare system?

2020-11-30 05:30:20 UTC

we are currently so isolated and so censored

2020-11-30 05:30:29 UTC

that I really don't know what people think

2020-11-30 05:31:04 UTC

@nachik get in touch with your Inner Q.... all you'll ever need to know how about American politics.

2020-11-30 05:31:06 UTC

I do some straw polling among friends I trust enough to ask

2020-11-30 05:31:16 UTC

without fear that they will call the police

2020-11-30 05:31:20 UTC

it's not raw it's overcooked

2020-11-30 05:32:15 UTC

Really? I guess that's why it's like chewing on rubber.

2020-11-30 05:32:24 UTC

here in London I think most people don't believe the situation is justified but at the same time, feel the need to signal that they do because it's safer for their personal standing

2020-11-30 05:33:37 UTC

@TaLoN132 squid is pretty good

2020-11-30 05:33:39 UTC

here in Canary Wharf to signal disobedience publicly is total suicide in the financial or media sectors

2020-11-30 05:33:59 UTC

that's why it took her so long to spit it out

2020-11-30 05:34:15 UTC

Huge fan... Love Calamari.

2020-11-30 05:34:54 UTC

Fried Kraken?

2020-11-30 05:35:17 UTC

@nachik I'm sorry you're in such a tough situation.

2020-11-30 05:35:40 UTC

I don't think a lot of people realise just how much debt we are accruing with the furlough schemes and are sucked into the collective madness with eerie calmness

2020-11-30 05:36:02 UTC

yeah likely ... it's going to give them a heart attack when they lose those Senate runoff elections because of it

2020-11-30 05:36:02 UTC

@meglide, you just advanced to level 13!

2020-11-30 05:36:12 UTC

I just looked up pictures of Canary Wharf... It looks really nice.

2020-11-30 05:36:43 UTC

Most people don't know.

2020-11-30 05:37:00 UTC

it's a weird place to live, most people who work here don't live here

2020-11-30 05:37:38 UTC

It's my understanding that the Republicans are boycotting Senate runoff in Georgia... protest they say.

2020-11-30 05:37:45 UTC

@busillis see they think fried Kraken is fried crackling ... that's what it is

2020-11-30 05:38:24 UTC

I tried to get Parler but they ask for your phone number, not a fan of that

2020-11-30 05:38:38 UTC

Is there anything good on there

2020-11-30 05:38:44 UTC

in the financial crash of 2007-2008 people panicked for a fraction of the debt we are incurring now

2020-11-30 05:38:52 UTC

Are we talkin about Sushi BBQ Fusion reactors?

2020-11-30 05:38:53 UTC

That's like downtown LA... They have been building luxury apartment homes to try to entice people to live downtown, but I have heard that it's been a pretty tough sell.

2020-11-30 05:38:58 UTC

lack of spelling skills (I should be the one to talk) and love of fried food will be the death of the GOP in GA

2020-11-30 05:39:06 UTC

it's like people just don't remember anything these days

2020-11-30 05:40:13 UTC

this is like 2 or 3 times the dotcom crash AND the 2007 financial crash combined

2020-11-30 05:40:29 UTC

yet people think it's just fine to carry on like this

2020-11-30 05:41:57 UTC

More like 1929 but worse.

2020-11-30 05:42:38 UTC

then there was the savings and loan failure before that

2020-11-30 05:43:59 UTC

we just keep blowing up bubbles, popping them and then blowing up bigger bubbles ... till the final bubble "currency collapse"

2020-11-30 05:44:14 UTC

the crack-up boom as it's called

2020-11-30 05:44:49 UTC

we never broke 100% GDP public debt levels before since WW2
