I’ve just seen many more tribal sects in the US where one has a unconditional following: Back the blue for example.

So you're saying a socialist system is inevitable, but the means to get there are really what's questionable? Correct me if I'm wrong.

2020-11-30 15:19:39 UTC

Through either reform or revolution.

2020-11-30 15:19:48 UTC

Marx was wrong in way more than that xD

2020-11-30 15:19:55 UTC

The brexit cult was payed for by your british oligarchs not wanting to have overlords in Berlin. Which is comfortable for me. The EU denationalization-policies is poison.

2020-11-30 15:20:01 UTC

And ive just reread das kapitaal

2020-11-30 15:20:10 UTC
2020-11-30 15:20:45 UTC

As a european, the EU is tocix garbage. The idea is good, the policy is not

2020-11-30 15:20:46 UTC

@andrasol most people who claim marx was wrong a lot have never read marx, or have read marx but failed to understand it. I therefore have this rule that I test peoples understanding of marx before I am willing to engage in a discussion on Marx.

2020-11-30 15:20:56 UTC

Sure

2020-11-30 15:21:21 UTC

Im not claiming im an economist, but ive read the audiobook twice.

2020-11-30 15:21:35 UTC

I voted Brexit, I was ok with some EU policies especially Human Rights but....open borders was a no deal, it’s why the Majority of Brits voted leave. And now we f’d it all up.

2020-11-30 15:21:43 UTC

@busillis if you are calling me a mad wizard you might be right.

The difference between reading physically and listening to an audiobook is that it's way easier to reiterate over stuff you don't really fully conceptualize in text.

2020-11-30 15:22:11 UTC

And listen to economy podcasts daily. As well ss hzving taken a comparative economics course

2020-11-30 15:22:21 UTC

Which I doubt everyone can fully conceptualize something reading it once.

2020-11-30 15:23:02 UTC

Like Nietzsche, Marx has to be read 1 chapter pr. month and processed by drawing and noting.

2020-11-30 15:23:28 UTC

It takes anything between 5 and 10 years to read Zarathustra.

2020-11-30 15:23:28 UTC

Talking speed != Processing speed.

2020-11-30 15:23:55 UTC

Fair. Im not criticising the points he makes. Within his woldview, they are fair.

It's his base premisses where he builds upon that i disagree on

2020-11-30 15:24:13 UTC

"most people read more than they understand"

2020-11-30 15:24:22 UTC

Which is a good thing

2020-11-30 15:24:43 UTC

Id rather read just above or generaly above my level

2020-11-30 15:24:46 UTC

If we were talking about crime drama novels I'd agree.

2020-11-30 15:24:50 UTC

Than keep reading below

2020-11-30 15:25:25 UTC

And then you return to it after a year and re read

2020-11-30 15:25:44 UTC

I put the link for the AZ hearing in general chat so that it doesn’t get lost in this one. I have to work and won’t be able to see much of it😞

2020-11-30 15:25:58 UTC

Thanks @Repeat , it's appreciated.

2020-11-30 15:26:02 UTC

On now?

2020-11-30 15:26:09 UTC

34 min.

2020-11-30 15:26:12 UTC

Yw!

2020-11-30 15:26:16 UTC

Thank you 🙏

2020-11-30 15:26:30 UTC

Thanks man...

We should keep this election based and maybe move banter and covid to another room

2020-11-30 15:26:56 UTC

@andrasol I've talked to Faith about this.

2020-11-30 15:27:03 UTC

Note that the original post referenced the difficulties of the election, so this time at least, it wasnt my fault. 😄

2020-11-30 15:27:25 UTC

Did not say or intend to say it was doc. XD

2020-11-30 15:27:53 UTC

Ignore the xD

2020-11-30 15:27:56 UTC

@andrasol I know. Its just that I am very good at going off topic, as I find elections boring, so it is *usually* me

2020-11-30 15:28:30 UTC

Oooph then how did you end up here? The blm cases?

2020-11-30 15:29:05 UTC

#badpopo I think?
