"I'll develop some disease and say I have to resign."
So, should one defend off an attack by a pack of coyote with their bare hands or let them kill you?
Supporter of capitalism ?
we need a Great Leap Forward.
We have some family friends who are bowhunters and they are impressive. Have to be as good at tracking as much as being proficient with the bow.
The Haudenosaunee went many centuries with peace with their Confederacy of Nations. The Confederacy is still intact today and is the longest surviving. To bad America has so much internal strife.
Tracking comes 2nd nature for me. My youngest brother came out years ago and I suggested we stalk a deer. I led the way and, about half an hour later, tracked one... long story short, we ate well that night.
He was impressed LOL
Befriend them.
I have 3 brothers, two older, one younger. Only I have chosen to follow our ancestors and live in nature. They all chose the city.
This?
“The Great Leap Forward of the People's Republic of China was an economic and social campaign led by the Chinese Communist Party from 1958 to 1962. Chairman Mao Zedong launched the campaign to reconstruct the country from an agrarian economy into a communist society through the formation of people's communes.”
Befriending all wildlife leaves empty stomachs.
Give thanks for the animal giving its life. If you take care of nature, nature will take care of you. Never take what is not needed. On and on...
If you take a tree, plant two in its place.
Maybe something in between that and Uncle Joe's five year plan. Sounds delicious to me, and the only viable path forward.
“The Great Leap resulted in tens of millions of deaths,[1] with estimates ranging between 18 million and 45 million deaths,[2] making the Great Chinese Famine the largest in human history.”
I’m not convinced we need a Great Leap Forward. That seems like something Bill Gates would champion though.
That's a great ecosystem type of philosophy. That's how it is in wildlife, nature as well.
It's interesting... many are up in arms about needing to chase down every instance of fraud in order to be satisfied that the correct candidate won. Frankly... I am only concerned about massively widespread voter fraud. I am of the opinion that there are enough knuckleheads on both sides that most fraud when taken as a whole is a zero-sum game - with an equal number of misguided people on both sides willing to cheat just a little due to proximity/opportunity. I have a suspicion that all politicians probably know this to be true... I think someone forgot to tell Trump.
Make Siberia Great Again
Do you think that's where N America is probably heading. When in the future China sets up shop in N America
I would be happy if we manage to not regress any further...
That's what I was afraid of.
Like the morning sun you come and like the wind you go...
If the entire nation followed the Great Law of Peace, life would be better. Take for example section 107 which states that, if one leaves thieir home, place a slanting stick upon the home. This is to identify that no one is present and no one who is not entitled to enter, day or night, if forbidden to enter.
I actually do this, though no one around here probably knows it
I think that’s a fair assessment. What’s got me curious is whether there will be backlash on these (primarily) dem politicians who changed some election rules in the past few months. That’s what seems sketchy to me.
One man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter?
That's idealistic and more likely to occur in the Nature realm of things. That could work for those who head out of the city structure, systems of work, taxation and live off the land.
I think that both sides made changes - Raffensberger in GA made accommodations for the pandemic and the PA Rep led legislature passed Act 77. Most of them were acting to make it easier to vote - especially during this time. I think that's a good thing.
Eh, it remains to be seen whether those changes were truly beneficial. The WI case (I believe) where the guy (his name is escaping me) posted on Facebook guiding people through the loophole to avoid ID seemed questionable at the very least.
Showing an id to vote is a pretty low bar IMO.
To this day, the Six Nations, still honor and practice the Great Law. Even the Treaty of Canandaigua of 1794 is still in effect and honored by the U.S. I'm not certain but believe it is one on the longest standing treaties in existance.
Yes these were last minute changes, could be for the purpose of easier voting, however perhaps some of the changes did not follow original protocols as written in county procedures. Or changes were made for "other" reasons to win at all costs.
I haven’t heard much about the Raffensburg changes. I’ll have to do some googling I suppose. The question is whether the changes conflict with preexisting laws. That case seems to be the strongest yet.
Interesting on the Six Nations and Great Law. Will need to research this further online
use phrenology for id purposes, many data points
gn all, enjoy the discussions
Anybody familiar with the work of Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn?
@TW20 Note that Lacrosse is very popular among the Six Nations, as it originated from the Haudenosaunee
I don't think that was the point. I think they assume that most are older and might not have the means/ability to scan in their ID and submit it. I have been trying to see if I can see what the WI requirements and procedures are... because I also wanted to see if it was possible to change the mailing address, because it occurred to me that they might not for an IC, because they are specifically asking since they are home. If they can't specify a different address, then what the hell are they complaining about.
