Right, right. I'm honestly using it as a metaphor. I find it interesting how Trump's effectively ending US interventionism via boots on the ground. I don't know where my old circle of leftists I usually debated got their news, but as soon as I brought up "Hey, isn't it great how we're actually out of..." Was met with such vitriolic response.
