we cannot deny that the history of why electoral college was created either we abolished it or amended because most Americans don't like it and the Majority of the world don't use it
Really the only thing stopping popular vote from becoming reality is a scotus case that says state Congress chooses electors. It might be the most beneficial thing Trump will give the country
if Trump wins another Term thru Scotus against Majority popular votes proofs that the System was created to be against the will of the majority of the citizens
It wont even let Trump win just ensure popular vote takes precedent over rural states

It's an anti fraudulent inflation of voting by each individual state measure.
Remove the Electoral College and watch each state report WAY more votes than they recieved.

Cities have a proportionately larger target on their back for Politicians to campaign
Ok
People not in cities have to travel farther to both register and vote. And people don't perform registration drives there.
So cities are outsized in their representation
When it comes to popular votes.
Ok but popular vote in context is most votes for potus candidate wins
Which means that Cities have an outsized vote compared to other areas.
People in Cities have something analogous to a smaller poll tax compared to other areas
That's not how electoral college votes are skewed though but it is what it is
