@William Dinan I am being sarcastic. I know only of one state where the human brain is free.

Would you Prescribe Narcotics to a Suicidal Person?

2020-12-20 20:47:54 UTC

suicidal people arent suicidal.

2020-12-20 20:48:07 UTC

Suicidal people are dead.

2020-12-20 20:48:14 UTC

exactly

2020-12-20 20:48:34 UTC

dying is extremely easy if you are brave enough.

2020-12-20 20:49:03 UTC

Technically. I believe you see my Point?

2020-12-20 20:49:24 UTC

I do.

2020-12-20 20:49:26 UTC

There are plenty of ways, I reckon.

2020-12-20 20:49:45 UTC

well, ppl, have fun. dinner.

2020-12-20 20:49:51 UTC

Enjoy

2020-12-20 20:49:59 UTC

Do no Harm...

2020-12-20 20:55:40 UTC

@Doc. I believe many confuse the difference between Ethics and Morals?

2020-12-20 20:57:16 UTC

I think people don't understand ethical/moral systems when they talk about ethics and morals.

2020-12-20 20:57:57 UTC

Which means they end up having gut feelings and attribute that to moral judgment.

2020-12-20 20:58:00 UTC

Yes I can agree!

2020-12-20 20:58:42 UTC

It's actually an incredibly complex system that you have to go out of your way to attempt and simplify.

2020-12-20 21:02:21 UTC

The complexity may strive from an inner self and not the actual Ethics set by the specific group or collective?

2020-12-20 21:03:00 UTC

That's the problem, people rely on visceral reactions and what they think the group they are a part of will think.

2020-12-20 21:03:21 UTC

Barely anyone has an internal system of morality to take a moral question in, and generate a moral response.

2020-12-20 21:04:15 UTC

Agree. I was referring to Ethics specifically.

2020-12-20 21:06:28 UTC

To make an internal moral system, you must make a model to do so, which is explaining society as a base, and everyone's function in society, then the moral construct that your society is created on. Most of this revolves around internal happiness.

2020-12-20 21:06:33 UTC

The Moral conflicts usually occur outside the group that sets the Ethical Standards. Not always...

2020-12-20 21:07:45 UTC

Then leads to constructing social contracts.

2020-12-20 21:09:53 UTC

Ethical Standards within a Specific Group may differ from General Social/Public Standards or Feeling/Emotions.

2020-12-20 21:11:30 UTC

Physician's, Attorneys, Clergy and Therapists come to mind quickly.

2020-12-20 21:12:48 UTC

Sure, but if those ethical standards still don't egress on the society, they can coexist.

2020-12-20 21:14:57 UTC

However they do. All of the Groups I have mentioned above will help People that Social may seem Undesirable or Unworthy of Services.

2020-12-20 21:15:27 UTC

How do they egress?

2020-12-20 21:17:25 UTC

Generally it's out of scope of egressing if it's just aiding a group of people that you yourself do not like.

2020-12-20 21:18:30 UTC

I took egress as Exit or leave. Not providing Services?

2020-12-20 21:18:43 UTC

Egress as in breaking the contract.

2020-12-20 21:19:21 UTC

Ethical Obligations?

2020-12-20 21:20:31 UTC

Sorry, I misinterpreted your comment.
