I am correct. I spent my entire childhood being raised by a horticulturalist. Natural sciences are part and parcel to my upbringing. If something is a member of the same genus they can cross pollinate/fertilize. Like the generation of a mule from a horse and a donkey.

To be Pan paniscus sapiens or Pan troglodytes sapiens we would have to be members of their species. To be Pan sapiens, we would have to be members of their genus. Soviet scientists attempted to cross fertilize a human female with gametes from chimpanzees and also from orangutans and failed to achieve fertilization. So, we are not members of the same genus nor species as chimpanzees.
