Extreme concentrated wealth is not good for an economy. Billionaire Bob eats no more beef than your or I do.
Sure, he may pay more for his steak than we did for our burgers. But in both cases 1 butcher, 1 chef and 1 server.
And a shit ton more hamburgers are eaten in year than steaks.
And before anyone says it... NO wealth redistribution is not something I back, at least not in any forced way. I would love to see more income equality but that needs to come slowly and via solid economic policies. Im a capitalist. Capitalism works.... but it still needs regulations.
Right now income inequality is worse than it was in the 1920s and what happened at the end of that decade? The Great Depression.
When was income inequality at its lowest? The 1950s, which for most people think was the most prosperous decade for Americans as a whole.
Why did we have the 2008 crash? Because Clinton, being a moron, pushed to loosen restrictions on banks and instruments of securities. This moronic attitude continued into hyper drive during G W Bush's Administration and we get the crash.
In March of 2009 Obama pushed for and Congress back him on putting those restrictions back in place.
The result: Each and every month from April 2009 to January 2020 the economy grew, unemployment fell. It was the longest continual month over month growth in our economy in US History.
Not at all. It’s not like Biden was a racist homophobe all his life. Nor that Trump danced to YMCA and has been pro-LGBT longer than Biden has been a Senator
No... She's wrong... The state delegate vote is only specified in the 12th amendment in the contingent election scenario. When outlining the process for objections to electors in USC 3 Section 15, the constitution only specifies a straight vote.
Also, I don't think that Mitt Romney and other moderate Reps could stomach another 4 years of Trump, so I don't think it will pass the Senate either.
Yep. Lol
Nothing to see here. 1994 crime bill nothing to see here
he was a member, as per his own memoir. https://www.reuters.com/article/uk-factcheck-byrd-eulogy-biden-kkk-grand-idUSKBN26S2EE
But is Biden a racist ?
Nothing at all. Nor his comments on 7/11
That’s a picture of him holding byrds hands.
Passing a conservative crime bill in 1994 does not a conservative Biden make
Fair. But do you think he’s not a racist ?
I’m far more concerned with 2020 racist policies than mistakes from decades past
Nothing to see here!!!
Really. can you link me to the data. thank you.
Data on racism
I think we should get rid of 1994 crime bill. The right defends it and worse
1994 crime bill is systemic racism in paper
McConnell is the roadblock for progressive crime reform. Trump and the judges he put in office are the roadblocks
You want quantitative data on Biden being a racist ?? Come one man
Biden isn’t the most progressive on crime reform but he’s left of the GOP
Crime Bill was unanimous and a requirement of the time, the bill should have evolved with time.
But it didn’t. And he’s the signer. Off with his head.
So once again, nothing to back up the claims...Trump taught you well.
My claim that Biden is a racist? Lol
Sorry you just started paying attention to politics 2 years ago when CNN made it cool
Thank god Trump came in and ended the Crime bill.
So... you wouldnt vote for any other Senator that signed that Crime Bill? Because, I bet you would. More hypocrisy is showing
Deflection to orange man bad. Shocker. (It’s not)
@rip.lul sorry you have nothing to support the orange man with.
Exactly
@rip.lul lets see some data.
I haven’t shown support for orange man today.
Just Biden being a piece of shit
Again, just because he did what the public wanted at the time, I don't think you can fault him for being a politician doing what he's supposed to do.
A politician is supposed to do what’s right. Even if it’s not what the public wants.
