And then there is the Democrats "lists" of Republicans and their vow of never allowing them to work again.

2020-11-25 03:11:41 UTC

Lists of covid deniers? I hadn't heard of that. For real.

2020-11-25 03:12:09 UTC

No, lists of everyone appointed by Trump, worked for him, donated to him, etc

2020-11-25 03:12:43 UTC

Ok. I'm super lost now. I was just getting on board with the covid discussion.

2020-11-25 03:13:11 UTC

I'm slow. I read slow and I type slower. Lol

2020-11-25 03:13:47 UTC

let me be clear I see a huge difference between saying folks need to social distance and wear masks when they can't etc. versus saying to a business you are non-essential and must close period

2020-11-25 03:13:54 UTC

It's known as the Trump Accountability Project

2020-11-25 03:15:00 UTC

Maybe that's the equivalent of rolling up 'The Left'. Both sound awful.

2020-11-25 03:16:41 UTC

I'm pretty far left but I'm not out there advocating force feeding tofu at gunpoint or selling the Federal Government deed to China.

2020-11-25 03:17:23 UTC

The aim is to ensure that everyone who has been appointed, donated, supported, worked for, etc for Donald Trump are doxxed and to ruin their lives and ensure they never work again. It is really insane and radical. It was all over the news about 2 weeks ago. I don't see how this is unifying.

2020-11-25 03:18:06 UTC

That doesn't sound like a thing to me. How would that work?

2020-11-25 03:18:44 UTC

to be fair I don't think this Biden's idea

2020-11-25 03:18:54 UTC

pushed by far left

2020-11-25 03:18:57 UTC
2020-11-25 03:19:30 UTC

My understanding is that there are a majority of Trump supporters. How would they be prevented from hiring themselves?

2020-11-25 03:20:04 UTC

AOC and company are taking on Biden himself

2020-11-25 03:20:58 UTC

brb

2020-11-25 03:21:22 UTC

I read slowly and I have two to read. Don't wait up. Lol

2020-11-25 03:22:26 UTC

think we need wait till we have that Covid channel ... seems like there is lots to discuss legally about it

2020-11-25 03:23:08 UTC

Thats what he did. When Trump got to the white White House fired every one that work with Obama.. not really that different

2020-11-25 03:23:45 UTC

Biden should reverse all Trump crazy policies

2020-11-25 03:26:54 UTC

Those were pundits that called for that... Everybody is reactionary. The Lincoln Project brought that up - hell hath no fury like a former Republican scorned. In a few months all (well most) will be forgotten. Talented people will always find work, though.

2020-11-25 03:27:34 UTC

Sounds like work history is at the discretion of whatever administration is governing. What am I missing?

2020-11-25 03:28:54 UTC

Not unlike seating justices.

2020-11-25 03:28:55 UTC

back

2020-11-25 03:30:05 UTC

@MatiLuc not ignoring your post. Registering my agreement by my own post.

2020-11-25 03:34:01 UTC

*Every* administration fires the old and hires the new. Yet, in Trump's case, many times there were objections that, "he can't do that!" The last 4 years were wrought full of trying to remove the president. Hardly anything got done. The Biden team are telling everyone they just need to accept Joe as the next president and calls for unity yet they, to this day, have never accepted Trump and never allowed a peaceful transition. The hypocricy is deafening.

2020-11-25 03:34:02 UTC

@Bey, you just advanced to level 5!

2020-11-25 03:36:40 UTC

Yeah... this was a really unique situation, I think. Mistakes were made by all. Hopefully, we can learn from them. It is still shocking to me that we don't have an accurate rapid test. I think that effort should have been on par with the vaccine. We also should have had better contact tracing. Google and the NSA probably have all of that data and just didn't want to let us know. If we had accurate testing, kick-ass contact tracing, patriotic mask compliance, and a concerted effort with social distancing, things would have been different.

2020-11-25 03:37:22 UTC

@Bey Again, some Democrats is not 'The Democrats'. I don't remember anyone saying that Trump *can't do that* but I can easily believe people would have said things were shitty to do. And any Republicans can and will say the same about Biden.

2020-11-25 03:38:45 UTC

Even though I cared nothing about Obama, I accepted he was my president for 8 years. The Democrat party still calls Trump illigitimate and not their president. They have never gotten over it. Now, they are saying that because Biden is president elect, everyone needs to just get over it and accept it. When someone has an issue they want resolved before accepting the results of Biden, they are shut down and told, "Biden won, get over it." How can one even hope to accept the results when they are not even allowed to have a voice?

2020-11-25 03:39:44 UTC

Does the Democrat Party say that though?

2020-11-25 03:40:14 UTC

Some people under all kinds of labels say all kinds of things. Js

2020-11-25 03:41:01 UTC

Actually, yes. Even registered Democrats are considered "members" of the Democrat Party, just as Republicans are considered "members" of the Republican Party. After all, they *are* registered as such.

2020-11-25 03:41:20 UTC

Votes are the voice we get. Who disallowed that? I'll literally gear up right now and go with you to get them.

2020-11-25 03:42:49 UTC

Ehhhh, not sure every member of every group speaks for the entire party. Otherwise you'd have to assign the things you agree with to the whole party too, even if they are mutually exclusive to something someone else said.

2020-11-25 03:42:56 UTC

Again, I am registered as neither a Democrat nor a Republican.

2020-11-25 03:43:11 UTC

Beside the point.

2020-11-25 03:44:05 UTC

If one is representing a specific party, then they are, by default, representative of the views said party holds.
