I like that... A very glass half full way to look at it. I too like to point out possible innocent reasons for the things that happened during this election.
Naw, this is in the original document. Even news agencies have pointed it out at this point.
is this private citizens filing this or part of trumps team?
The document has gone through countless edits and revisions through its collaborative creation. Just doing a bit of Occam’s razor but to me it’s likely to be a formatting error and rushed publication moreso than a Sydney Powell furiously typing out an incorrectly spelled title.
It's legal reps for various GOP groups.
yeah this looks bad
I have **never** seen errors like this, and I've viewed a lot of cases and pdfs of complaints.
it must be a boomer moment
maybe they copied by hand
instead of using a converter
and rushed it out
i'm skimming the document and im not seeing any other major typos/spelling errors
There are a few others.
But that's the most egregious example.
Otherwise it's just things lacking spacing.
ran it through spell checker and dont see any others
unless its stuff like their/they're
and weird formatting like this The fraud was executed by many means,2
should the citation notation come after or before punctuation?
Before.
Means is the word that should have citation/elaboration.
As there were various means.
Allegedly.
Fortunately this isn't filed.
And I've not seen it on any dockets yet.
would the court just ask them to refile?
They'd have a period of being allowed to amend a complaint.
The reason I hold my breath is because since they've not filed it, they've not included their exhibits.
Which is my primary concern.
exhibit A. because i said so
https://www.courtlistener.com/docket/18693929/1/1/king-v-whitmer/ Because I want to see if it's stuff like this, that isn't a proper affidavit.
Happy Thanksgiving!
May your stuffing be tasty
May your turkey plump,
May your potatoes and gravy
Have never a lump.
May your yams be delicious
and your pies take the prize,
and may your Thanksgiving dinner
Stay off your thighs!
I see 3 affidavits that are not valid so far in the Michigan lawsuit.
More like 7
Which is of course unfortunate.
It's probably better to think of them as pr props. If half the country suspects election malfeasance, how can we certify this thing? 'We're just asking questions.'
But there are many valid affidavits.
