Ok no

2020-12-02 18:40:15 UTC

Hollow propaganda until vetted in a court of law.

2020-12-02 18:40:21 UTC

They have thus far not actually linked the 4 odd companies together

2020-12-02 18:40:44 UTC

But they said so. So there's that, then.

2020-12-02 18:40:51 UTC

I mean I guess google is wrong then

2020-12-02 18:41:17 UTC

But I was going to ask, what about George Soros being connected to Dominion? (and antifa for that matter)

2020-12-02 18:41:26 UTC

Is George Soros just the boogyman

2020-12-02 18:41:37 UTC

I'm not playing 7 degrees of George soros again

2020-12-02 18:41:44 UTC

HAHAHAHA ok

2020-12-02 18:42:20 UTC

George soros gave a dollar to a group and that group talked to a company who gave advice to a government agency and all the dots are connected

2020-12-02 18:42:30 UTC

Okay lmao

2020-12-02 18:42:36 UTC

I mean, honestly George Soros seems like the quintessential boogeyman.

2020-12-02 18:42:45 UTC

😂

2020-12-02 18:43:01 UTC

Alright bye

2020-12-02 18:43:03 UTC

Lol

2020-12-02 18:43:45 UTC

I guess we'll see what happens

2020-12-02 18:44:15 UTC

Does Soros throw money into politics? No doubt.

2020-12-02 18:44:37 UTC

Tons of it.

2020-12-02 18:45:32 UTC

Is he incredibly disgusting and evil? Yes

2020-12-02 18:48:55 UTC

So Smartmatic is software that can be used by Dominion machines, to clarify the relationship

2020-12-02 18:49:16 UTC

That's what they claim

2020-12-02 18:50:01 UTC

Dominion has stated that Smartmatic was not used in the US machines this election

2020-12-02 18:50:01 UTC

@Shar 危 (Shar Chi), you just advanced to level 3!

2020-12-02 18:52:48 UTC

Smartmatic machines are used in this election they just are different machines than dominion machines in different areas of the country

2020-12-02 18:58:42 UTC

I think that we are having 2 different discussions. There is no disputing that these system have vulnerabilities. There are only 2 types of computer systems - ones that are vulnerable and ones that will be vulnerable at some point in the relatively near future. With Election systems, you are dealing with an environment that is only used a couple times a year, at most. Plus, the systems are (if done correctly) not connected to the Internet and able to receive timely OS upgrades or auto upgrades from the vendor. Given that, to complain that these systems have vulnerabilities seems like one of those "Well...Duh" type things. Having a 100% invulnerable system to the standards of a free standing Internet-connected sys is not practical. The best we can probably hope for is to have a reasonably secure system that is mandated to exist in an "air-gapped" environment as election locations should have. If there circumstances where Internet connectivity is required for whatever reason, it should never be directly on the same LAN as voting systems and it should utilize VPN's to provide secure encrypted traffic to only VPN-connected networks and prevented from freely accessing the Internet by a firewall. That is why we focus on the likelihood of these vulnerabilities being exploited - as we have already stipulated that they exist. And depending on many factors, they may or may not be an issue in this context.

Here's an analogy... I have a 2003 Ford Expedition that I have had since it was new. I've kept it, because I like the size and I have let my sons learn to drive and use it. I have done a pretty good job keeping up with the maintenance and we haven't had many issues. Last winter, I noticed it was leaking oil, but not a lot. I took it in to get it checked out and it'd cost $500 to get it fixed - this on the heels of having just spent $700 on tires. So, I made the decision it was better short-term to just add oil every do often. It's a risk, but an acceptable one for now.

2020-12-02 18:59:32 UTC

Let's gooooooo

2020-12-02 19:01:15 UTC

I don't know... Those two just rub me the wrong way. They make ambulance chasers look good...

2020-12-02 19:02:16 UTC

It blows my mind that anyone can hear Powell and not recognize her deranged radicalism.

2020-12-02 19:02:42 UTC

Smartmatic was only involved in 1 county in the entire country - LA County. They were contracted to build a custom system - where LA retains all rights to the finished product. I don't know much about the specifics of what was built.

2020-12-02 19:06:40 UTC

So in that case how do you classify Kamala Harris or for that matter Sleepy Joe?

2020-12-02 19:07:31 UTC

Sorry I'm not trying to derail you I deeply appreciate your knowledge and sharing

2020-12-02 19:08:44 UTC

No, they aren't even close to today's security standards which is the problem.

2020-12-02 19:09:37 UTC

Also fixing an oil leak can be an easy problem.

2020-12-02 19:09:53 UTC

As long as it's not actively burning during combustion cycles.

2020-12-02 19:10:01 UTC

You can likely fix it yourself.

2020-12-02 19:10:10 UTC

Finding out where it's leaking is important though.
