I couldn't tell you for sure, but I gather it was set pretty high.
Okay yea, I'm sure it is high.
Cheers, sorry for all the IT talk. lol
No no very helpful, I appreciate it. I've just sort of been feeling my way through the livestream stuff, I'm very appreciative of the help.
15 gigs for 1-2 hours is probably something like 15-20k.
Is it possible to livestream to Rumble?
According to the comments, not yet.
But it's planned.
who owns Rumble?
Officially I'm not sure but I think Bongino is at least partially involved?
Bongino I think is atleast part owner.
How that stands while he is being treated for cancer I don't know. There may be contingencies set up on that.
Bongino being a major investor in its start up is why a lot of conservatives are going there away from Silicon Valley.
Wish he'd find some better programmers.
I understand. I have been giving them difficulty because I cannot post there unless I buy a cell phone I can't use.
Yep, you can't skimp out on that expense.
Google's weren't that good back in the day, Facebook still aren't
At least for something like a video sharing platform.
it's all about bandwidth, capacity and processing
Lol good point on Facebook
(Meaning it's likely not to be added to restream any time soon)
Yea which makes it a bit unusable for us.
Since we use restream
Bitchute suffers from the same issue.
As much as people may dislike twitch/fb/yt, they have good programmers that know what they're doing.
yeah they have to attract folks first to generate ad revenue then invest in upgrades ... bandwidth and processing
Then they will have to retain that ad revenue.
Yea you are right @meglide they are new platforms and they'll mature up.
Tech debt becomes an issue the longer you go without hiring on really good programmers from the start.
Tech debt increases costs substantially.
And the cost just increases with time.
ROFL: Rumble is not listed in Wikipedia. Wonder how that happened...
I'm sure it's just an innocent oversight.
More likely a PLA edit.
The 50 cent army strikes again.
For the business-minded.
I don't think programmers is the issue ... no matter who you have, you need the infrastructure in place to support the platform and that cost $$$ ... recall when Netflix made special deals with ISPs for priority bandwidth? $$$
@RobertGrulerEsq, you just advanced to level 11!
Congrats on lvl 11, Mr. Gruler.
