Right and so it seems that both of us are mistaken about what debt monetization really is. What would been enlightening is if @Gypsy had told us that no according to MMT debt monetization is really this. And what you are calling debt monetization is more properly termed as such and such. And the difference it is so and so.
E.g: Psychiatrist diagnosis, sends patient to a psychologist for mental exercises.
Yes a M.D. Or D.O.
I see, I was speaking from the POV of economics. There is enough overlap that economist tend to respect a lot of the work in psychology. Behavioral economics is really the marriage fo the two. It wasn’t always that way but it has changed to be a better relationship.
But sociology is generally ..... not well respected. For one, their best ideas came from an economist.
Gotta remember, Psychiatrists can prescribe medication.
If you can do that, you're probably a doctor.
Psychiatrists are medical doctors, psychologists are not. Psychiatrists prescribe medication, psychologists can't. Psychiatrists diagnose illness, manage treatment and provide a range of therapies for complex and serious mental illness. Psychologists focus on providing psychotherapy (talk therapy) to help patients.
We have a lot of doctors here. Every other block. Selling plants. And pipes. And gummies.
Doctor != Medical doctor.
Physician
Hence why dermatologists require a medical degree.
They also prescribe medication.
Biden giving live speech and taking questions like a President 🤷 😂
@Dedkraken, you just advanced to level 33!
Also another good example between doctors and non-doctors is physician referring to treatment to a physiotherapist.
I think all drugs should be legal but only sold those with a pharmacist degree so they can advise on risks.
But I ran this by some pharmacist and they were less convinced lol
Theres some crazy stuff that's regulated
Pharmacists require prescriptions, unless it's off-the-shelf, and then it kinda defeats the point you're making.
It would be off the shelf. But only sold by pharmacist. That’s my plan
I think requiring licensing to sell and do so in a responsible way would be a good start.
But everything is legal. So no black market. No incentive for violence and drug wars.
Sort of how dispensaries work already in Canada and the like.
And the same with prostitution.
I am not certain how they work tbh.
Government license to own a dispensary.
And perhaps that's exactly where we would have gotten to had you not taking the tact of saying I'm an idiot because I didn't know what your acronym meant. Maybe some folks went to school before certain modern acronyms or terms became popular.
After I received my JD, I’ve put “Dr.” as my title on my license, Amazon package delivery, Global Entry... places like that lol
I would have no license beyond the pharmacist license. The licensing should be regulated by those with the knowledge. No government revenue beyond VAT or sales tax.
Generally the revenue is processing fees for licenses.
😂 someone said doctors get better hotel rooms and such.
Which is reasonable to me, since it takes time to process applications/licensing.
Junk Doctor? Not quite the same as Push Here Dummy?...lol
I wouldn’t want the regulating body to be the government just a non profit of pharmacist. Like other professional regulating authorities.
Pharmacies are non-profit?
The government could say you need to be licensed but not themselves be involved in regulation or collection of revenue.
Wasn't aware of that.
I don’t think I used the correct term.
But there are professional regulating authorities that aren’t the government but have some monopoly on regulating a profession.
