I only make trades with the world. I do not in any way belong to it.
You're still in a more broad hierarchy though!
You can't escape your species!
I said "contemporary" hierarchies.
I suppose you did distinguish that.
but, there is said that the 7th level of consciousness lets you leave the human hierarchy.
Leads us to the question of the definition of contemporary, though.
well, there is no social context you will find me bound by.
nor any society.
Trade only.
Well you socialize!
Not really, unless you count text on a screen.
I certainly do.
As does voicechat count.
well, then that is your problem, as I dont see myself socially bound in any shape or form by this activity.
Harsh, I know.
I think I prefer you think that way.
Because I prefer your company. :)
😄
well, to say it like this; so do I, but if you for one reason or another should feel it necessary to kick me out, that would be futile. I would be just as happy to leave as to stay.
I wander.
You bring a lot of wisdom to the discussion.
That is my purpose, yes, so I am glad to hear that.
And wisdom, mind you, transcends human hierarchies.
wisdom is the antidote for the hierarchy
It's something I consider invaluable. Now, don't go around breaking rules because those are principles that supersede usefulness!
No get out of jail free cards for you.
Nor anyone.
I dont break rules unless they are in conflict with my own laws.
I am obligated to be a good guest. By my faith.
I know, just felt obligated to point that out lest I get more accusations of bias tossed at me.
Some people confuse this with being a sycophant. They are sometimes surprised by me. 😄
This all kind of relates to a phenomenon that I coined as the "lottery mentality" here in America. I noticed it first in the 80's when Reagan convinced everyone to go along with Trickle Down Economics - "If you had a pile of money, wouldn't you want to keep it rather than having to give it all to the government?" Very few of us will ever be in that position, but we can all identify with how we might feel if we were.
The argument worked so well, that it has started to permeate our culture. By focusing on the marginal (almost minuscule) aberrations, opinions about issues can be swayed:
- The exceedingly few violent criminals that cross our border to the south become representative of all undocumented immigrants.
- The exceedingly few individuals that commit horrific mass shootings become representative of all gun owners - especially those with AR's
- The exceedingly few abortions that are horrifically performed late in pregnancy are representative of all abortions
- The exceedingly few white supremacists represent all conservatives
- The exceedingly few Antifa members that commit violent acts represent all seeking social justice
- The exceedingly few Muslim extremists that perpetrated the 9/11 attacks represent all Muslims
We use this approach for everything. We have become paralyzed as a nation because we allow ourselves to be polarized by fringe issues. We use the abhorrently abnormal minority to affect our treatment of the decently normal vast majority.
And confused....
The golden rooster might still crow.
Is that a narcolepsy dig? Or are you hinting that I am missing the point?
Or he's saying it's time to go super-woke.
