I'm finding Emacs quite intuitive. Papa, am I becoming hermit?

@johnfrum Good day again. $23.50 impact wrench and Amazon sent me a 5-pack of Wera instead of the one I ordered.

2018-06-18 06:06:30 UTC

where the fuck did you find that for 23.50

2018-06-18 06:10:29 UTC

Lowe's. Oddly enough, they aren't carrying the bare tool anymore, only the package with battery and charger. This was the last bare tool, it was the display.

2018-06-18 06:12:38 UTC

oh yeah if you dont got a battery and charger it'd be pretty useless

2018-06-18 06:12:54 UTC

Got a few

2018-06-18 06:14:45 UTC

I mean, it ain't Milwaukee, or even DeWalt's high-end, but it's good stuff.

2018-06-18 06:20:26 UTC

I sold off my Bosch and DeWalt, have Black & Decker(cheap drill for mixing chocolate milk, and a mouse sander, $5 batteries all the time, USB charger), Porter Cable(my favorite drill, 18 gauge nailer), Kobalt and Milwaukee.

2018-06-18 06:27:15 UTC

@Rusty-Shackleford how exactly do you plan on upgrading a cpu on a macbook

2018-06-18 06:36:09 UTC

just by opening it up

2018-06-18 06:36:18 UTC

macbooks older than 2012 aren't soldered in

2018-06-18 06:36:23 UTC

so I can just open it up and replace it

2018-06-18 06:36:29 UTC

same with ram and storage and batter

2018-06-18 06:39:46 UTC

i have a 2008 and 2009 macbook, and they are definitely soldered in

2018-06-18 06:40:21 UTC

Maybe my research was off

2018-06-18 06:40:25 UTC

I also have a 2006

2018-06-18 06:40:26 UTC

:^)

2018-06-18 06:42:14 UTC

whatever floats your boat i guess

2018-06-18 06:42:31 UTC

i wouldn't particularly get excited on a few hundred mhz increase on an age old generation

2018-06-18 06:42:58 UTC

I would only be upgrading to processor in order to upgrade ram

2018-06-18 06:43:08 UTC

you can't upgrade ram without upgrading processor

2018-06-18 06:43:14 UTC

uhh

2018-06-18 06:43:50 UTC

that sounds really retarded and wrong but it's apple after all so

2018-06-18 06:43:58 UTC

exactly

2018-06-18 06:43:59 UTC

anyways

2018-06-18 06:44:02 UTC

I'm going to bed

2018-06-18 06:44:04 UTC

night sleep well all

2018-06-18 06:49:34 UTC

@Rusty-Shackleford 2012 13" nonretina is unsoldered, but retinas are all soldered

2018-06-18 06:49:53 UTC

tryin to sleep but my macbook isn't a retina
