@Boffin Frog You should listen to some German Revolution songs then, The best one is "Die Weber" which's lyrics are about how the "elites" destroy Germany and how the "Volk" "weave" the "Shroud" for those "elites". (Die Weber = The Weavers)
H-hey guys my grandfather's german
Shit maybe that’s a bit Doxxy
@Boffin Frog Song is from the german revolution, i hope you enjoy the song
that song still works today lyrically
1848 shall commence again
@BavarianBarbarian Serious Q would it have been better if All German people had been one nation from the start
Like I mean from the collapse of HRE
>when the edgy German liberals offer you an emperorship but you say 'hella no, I don't want no throne from the gutter; my right to rule comes from God'

The divine right of King
My favourite quote rim Nicholas II about plebs wanting democracy is
@Metaphysical Monarchist Good question, as of 1848 (like the song i posted) we Germans have a bond to one another but still are very different. Between 1700 and 1848 Germany would have been better off as one nation yes, but now in 2018? Not so much
‘How are they to understand they are mere mortals whilst I am gods anointed’

Seriously should’ve gave Hitler all German land then BTFO the Soviet’s
You can’t argue with that imo
Bismarck is also the only german nationalist who has huge monuments and statues everywhere, the leftwing parties complain about some but luckily they stay
Less blood shed and hopefully lasting peace
Bismarck is pretty cool
I’ve also enjoyed reading up on the Tsrars of Russia and English Kings prior to the Glorious Revolution
Nicholas II is truly a tragic hero
Oh i did, since my grandfathers i grew up with were both heavy nationalists (one was in the 1st SS Division "Adolf Hitler" and the other was in the 6th SS Division "Nord) i kinda grew up with grandpas telling me about german mythology, "heroes" (like Bismarck and Frederick the Great) etc.
so i'm lucky concerning that
My grandad was really into English history
remember when the germans settled new colonies in the new world?
that was so sick
So I love Alfred, Aethalstan, Henry I/II, Henry V, Henry VII, the Stuart’s etc
English history is very interesting and in fact, when i started my university time in Munich (München) learning about english history and it's connections to german history was considered very important
Stuart’s are the best BTW
@Neoteny+AfricanFemales=;D Well we kinda did if you talk about Amerika
oh shit that was your grandfather at plymouth rock?
or was your grandfather the one in jamestown?
Since ultimately my ancestors are Germanic/Norman like 1k years ago I do care about Germany and France
German history is great

It’s good to learn history through the great man theory
A straight time line is boring but it’s fun if it’s centred around one major figure like a King, pope, Knight etc
