if metal tapes weren't Horrible Poison to manufacture they'd basically match it but as it is they're the highest quality physical media

also they look nicer on a shelf than vinyl records do, since spine labels on the cases and you don't have to deal with them being like 4 different sizes

I installed Windows off a burnt DVD plugged into a USB DVD drive and that's all

I still dont see it gaining traction except maybe audiophiles but trying to market towards those people is a losing battle.

I only ever used CD-Rs to burn dreamcast games though

I used to use my old DS lite with a flashcart as an MP3 player

@Droidbot 's still the best way to experience some entirely new music to you since it kinda discourages skipping around to see if you like it, makes you listen all the way through
