I am struggling with it

2020-11-02 01:38:01 UTC

Please pray for me brothers

2020-11-02 01:38:31 UTC

And pray for those who I used to call friends and who hate me for standing for what is morally correct

2020-11-02 01:39:18 UTC

Most importaintly however, pray for the children who's lives are being destroyed by the horrible evil that is pornography. So that they may not suffer what I suffer

Amen to that πŸ™

2020-11-02 01:44:33 UTC

we have to stop buying the drug, but also stop them from selling it

@Vincentius The laity are still encouraged to stand. Most of the time the pews are only used by those who really need them. My own parish is completely open, save for some foldable chairs against a wall for the elderly and disabled to use.

@Scaevus#2472 ill be attending an outdoor mass this sunday, ill remember to not bring a chair in reverence

2020-11-06 21:55:28 UTC

Also like the early christians once did

2020-11-06 22:32:33 UTC

A good way to get further is prayer and contemplation

2020-11-06 22:33:06 UTC

heavily recommend to try praying the rosary if possible @KekFromKekistan

2020-11-06 22:33:39 UTC

word

2020-11-06 22:33:52 UTC

if you dunno how i have links

2020-11-06 22:34:01 UTC

gotta get myself a bible first

2020-11-06 22:34:13 UTC

Nah nah nah that's not how you do it

2020-11-06 22:34:34 UTC

if you just read the bible you will have a hard time deriving knowledge from it

2020-11-06 22:34:40 UTC

it's better to start with the Catechism

2020-11-06 22:35:14 UTC

there's a reason why the bible wasn't put in everyone's hands centuries ago

2020-11-06 22:35:29 UTC

I'll take your word for it

2020-11-06 22:35:31 UTC

Thanks man

2020-11-06 22:35:49 UTC

the Baltimore Catechism was made for the laity(common folk) and should be perfect for you

2020-11-06 22:36:05 UTC

there are even easier ones like a Brief Catechism for Adults but i think you're clever

2020-11-07 15:04:33 UTC

> it's better to start with the Catechism
@crowcan'tcaw yes

2020-11-07 16:47:04 UTC

Please excuse my language

2020-11-07 16:47:42 UTC

But I just got into an argument with these stupid fucking bitches who said that they are catholic and support abortion

2020-11-07 16:48:44 UTC

I kept telling them that the church literally states that you cannot be a catholic and pro-abortion, but they kept being like, "oh you're invalidating our beliefs."

2020-11-07 16:49:02 UTC

You stupid bitch, im literally just restating what the church says

2020-11-07 16:49:26 UTC

By the church's definition, you are not a catholic

2020-11-07 16:50:38 UTC

People who support abortion are one thing, but what really infuriates me are people who claim to be a part of our church and say abortion is totally fine
