Yep, I've had repeat customers, when they've lived house and then they recommend me etc etc
*moved house

I've got 3 French pieces I'm working on at the moment but they've taken a back seat atm 👍
Ohh I'm jealous. I love to have a project to have especially during holidays. I've built up a nice amount of equipment for restoring. Relaxing and beautiful to see a piece restored to its glory
Will catch up with them at some point
Yes its rewarding. It's like a sideline hobby of mine to go with all my other hobbies 😁
I really need to watch all 3 live streams again uninterrupted to really digest.
That's how I felt about my fixers. Had no trouble selling them, so got picky and would only sell them to couple, preferably with kids
GG @Lloyd Owen, you just advanced to level 7!
Yep, a bit of heart and soul goes in. Labours of love
I know people that made millions property developing over here
They still are
If I won the lottery, that's what I'd do. Buy an old beautiful house and spend my time lovingly restoring it especially any gardens attached
I did quite well. My wife and I sold more FHA repos than any agents in Sacramento County in 1975, 76 and 77. I could show there where to buy thing and how to do some things
Aim for it! Positive thoughts can manifest in reality 🙏
They're buying houses with big gardens over here and building a second house in the gardens. The average 3 bed house where I live is about £250k-£300k. How about over there?
I believe that you ask God very specifically and if it is for you, then prayers are answered in truly miraculous ways
I'd address the gardening first. -- allow things to mature in 5 to 6 months
The odds of actually winning thst lottery... You'd have a better chance at succeeding at a business that would pay out more frequently
Yeah for sure you have to work for it but it's good to have something to aim for and thinking positively can help you achieve it eventually
It's definitely not as crazy as in the UK, nowhere near those prices. That's a shame about the gardens.
Three bedrooms in reasonably decent neighborhoods are $350-$400K
I'll respectfully disagree. The lottery is a pipe dream, owning a business is not. In fact it's very much achievable
I know but sure doesn't hurt to dream a little lol
Yes it is a shame, I dont agree with it because they're ruining alot of old properties, especially when all the new builds get gardens the size of a matchbox 😁
That's about the same cost I think but we have more people than houses or so they say
Y'all must not be in America or in the the deep south... Wrong season for any of that. Fixing that house in a blizzard would suck
Yes, and that's a curse of today's world - people and families thrive and are happier when they have a little greenery around them to breathe, quite literally.
Nope, deep south UK 😂 Get alot of drizzle this time of year
less than we do here. If it's not raining, it's about to rain LOL
Haha yeah so true
You in NI Clare?
Yes, didn't JP fill you in on that wee snippet of info??
Grubhub is extra slow tonight... I wonder why
