I know people that made millions property developing over here

2020-12-16 22:16:02 UTC

They still are

2020-12-16 22:17:50 UTC

If I won the lottery, that's what I'd do. Buy an old beautiful house and spend my time lovingly restoring it especially any gardens attached

2020-12-16 22:17:59 UTC

I did quite well. My wife and I sold more FHA repos than any agents in Sacramento County in 1975, 76 and 77. I could show there where to buy thing and how to do some things

2020-12-16 22:18:39 UTC

Jack Frost is definitely doing his job this evening. The roads are bogus

2020-12-16 22:18:52 UTC

Aim for it! Positive thoughts can manifest in reality 🙏

2020-12-16 22:19:53 UTC

They're buying houses with big gardens over here and building a second house in the gardens. The average 3 bed house where I live is about £250k-£300k. How about over there?

2020-12-16 22:20:30 UTC

I believe that you ask God very specifically and if it is for you, then prayers are answered in truly miraculous ways

2020-12-16 22:20:35 UTC

I'd address the gardening first. -- allow things to mature in 5 to 6 months

2020-12-16 22:21:06 UTC

The odds of actually winning thst lottery... You'd have a better chance at succeeding at a business that would pay out more frequently

2020-12-16 22:22:02 UTC

Yeah for sure you have to work for it but it's good to have something to aim for and thinking positively can help you achieve it eventually

2020-12-16 22:22:33 UTC

It's definitely not as crazy as in the UK, nowhere near those prices. That's a shame about the gardens.

2020-12-16 22:22:39 UTC

Three bedrooms in reasonably decent neighborhoods are $350-$400K

2020-12-16 22:22:56 UTC

I'll respectfully disagree. The lottery is a pipe dream, owning a business is not. In fact it's very much achievable

2020-12-16 22:23:06 UTC

I know but sure doesn't hurt to dream a little lol

2020-12-16 22:23:45 UTC

Yes it is a shame, I dont agree with it because they're ruining alot of old properties, especially when all the new builds get gardens the size of a matchbox 😁

2020-12-16 22:24:38 UTC

That's about the same cost I think but we have more people than houses or so they say

2020-12-16 22:24:59 UTC

Y'all must not be in America or in the the deep south... Wrong season for any of that. Fixing that house in a blizzard would suck

2020-12-16 22:25:27 UTC

Yes, and that's a curse of today's world - people and families thrive and are happier when they have a little greenery around them to breathe, quite literally.

2020-12-16 22:25:38 UTC

Nope, deep south UK 😂 Get alot of drizzle this time of year

2020-12-16 22:26:17 UTC

less than we do here. If it's not raining, it's about to rain LOL

2020-12-16 22:26:41 UTC

Haha yeah so true

2020-12-16 22:27:05 UTC

You in NI Clare?

2020-12-16 22:29:04 UTC

Yes, didn't JP fill you in on that wee snippet of info??

2020-12-16 22:29:09 UTC

Grubhub is extra slow tonight... I wonder why

2020-12-16 22:29:34 UTC

I remember you saying a while ago

2020-12-16 22:29:56 UTC

Delivery?

2020-12-16 22:30:12 UTC

I quite like being out in shitty weather tbh

2020-12-16 22:30:24 UTC

Confuse her with British and she'll soon remind you

2020-12-16 22:30:52 UTC

Yeah, blizzard. Referencing the pic I sent to @Pablo Snaggletooth

2020-12-16 22:30:54 UTC

Yep 😂

2020-12-16 22:30:54 UTC

No chance of escaping it here. We are resilient people here.

2020-12-16 22:31:40 UTC

You know it Lloyd lol 💪

2020-12-16 22:32:06 UTC

Nope. I get so jealous watching American stuff because it's always sunny lol

2020-12-16 22:32:17 UTC

I hear Irish & Scottish don't get along very well...

2020-12-16 22:32:42 UTC

Yeah they do, they're united in their hate for the English 😂

2020-12-16 22:32:46 UTC

Not true - all derived from the Celts so there is that inner understanding

2020-12-16 22:33:02 UTC

Well, sorta true there lol

2020-12-16 22:33:08 UTC

Haha

2020-12-16 22:33:14 UTC

Exactly

2020-12-16 22:33:30 UTC

Can't be forgetting the Welsh Lloyd.
