@porco you probably wouldn't have a space problem there if you use watercooling, though there's other problems with htat

or you could try buying a heatsink with long tubes, then bend them properly to offset the fin part

on the one hand the new ram doesn't get recognized at all and causes a startup stop, I think the memory might be incompatible. On the other hand, a Ryzen 7 idling with no cooler had 33 deg

tctl reads 76 deg

if it still has the 20 offset it's 56 so it's fine

Oh, my bad. I didn't read carefully enough. I saw 33c above and then installing stuff and 76c. Wrong conclusion.

76c idle would be pretty bad on the Intel side, but I guess not unheard of.
