2016-07-17 16:58:38 UTC

@Comfy you know very well that the old reason brexit happened was bc of your old people who don't want Muslims

2016-07-17 16:59:02 UTC

Not that I want Muslims but immigration was the only reason that brexit happened

2016-07-17 16:59:06 UTC

And was voted for

2016-07-17 16:59:50 UTC

there were a few other reasons

2016-07-17 16:59:52 UTC

afaik

2016-07-17 16:59:56 UTC

2016-07-17 17:02:03 UTC

>linking to Vice
>the same people who walked around the shittiest parts of England looking for racist people to further their liberal agenda

2016-07-17 17:02:21 UTC

Yeah, a lot of old people voted to leave but it wasn't entirely old people.

2016-07-17 17:02:26 UTC

Yeah, it's funny because they're fucking awful

2016-07-17 17:02:27 UTC

immigration might have been part of it, but there are larger issues at hand. Self determination, the EU forming its own army, the lack of representation at the EU council...the list goes on..England wasn't the first attempt to leave the EU. France and the Netherlands tried previously. England was the first (so far) that has been allowed to escape

2016-07-17 17:02:50 UTC

Ireland has a lot of discontent too

2016-07-17 17:03:01 UTC

in the case of France and the Netherlands, they just kept running referendums until they got the result they wanted

2016-07-17 17:03:17 UTC

the EU is bad for people and business.

2016-07-17 17:03:24 UTC

i had an sjw turn up at my door soon after brexit and ask for donations

2016-07-17 17:03:33 UTC

for some "anti racist" thing

2016-07-17 17:03:40 UTC

yeah EU is a bureaucratic tyranny on the level of Soviet Union

2016-07-17 17:03:54 UTC

I mean goddamn they ban all kinds of good stuff just for the fun of it

2016-07-17 17:04:03 UTC

light bulbs, powerfull kettles

2016-07-17 17:04:08 UTC

its also an age thing...all the children, under 25, who've never actually seen anything are in favor of the EU...everyone older, who's seen the reality of how the world works, voted against the eu

2016-07-17 17:04:23 UTC

The only people who experienced a UK minus the EU are 40+

2016-07-17 17:04:26 UTC

I see loads of people on /r/UK clamouring to get Irish passports now, it's pathetic

2016-07-17 17:04:43 UTC

meh, free movement is great for the self

2016-07-17 17:04:46 UTC

not so much for the nation

2016-07-17 17:04:50 UTC

the sjw's are quick to make this about race...when its not

2016-07-17 17:05:06 UTC

if you are modern succesfull youth, you want to travel and compete in the global economy

2016-07-17 17:05:11 UTC

EU helps you here greatly

2016-07-17 17:05:17 UTC

europe needs a point based immigration system.
