For being nationalistic they sure seem very happy to destroy their own culture whenever given the opportunity.

It's hard to determine what Japan's path forward is. The current government is obsessed with GDP growth and is okay with foreign workers as long as Japanese companies can treat them like shit.

That last part is true. If foreign workers had any protections the Japanese companies would say, "screw it, it's too expensive."

So my deal with the japan question is a lot of Americans love anime and japanese culture, which is fine, but most japanese people don't feel the same way. They think we're fat and stupid and ruin the world haha
