How good/bad are the HP Proobooks compared to thinkpad counterparts?

(they are usually more expensive in my region so a bit out of the question for me personally but you never know)

their life-/pro-/ultra-/elite-books are pretty much in same line with dell latitudes and lenovo <whateverbusinessmodels>

made for business it just depends what you need specwise

portability,ports,batterylife, etc

I was more interested in the quality of build / expected lifetime for a similarly spected lenovo vs HP pro/elite book

where as T440s are decent at all master of none of those, *books usualy tend to be more focused toward single need

and Zbooks: pure calculation power* ofc but those are rarely for even 500 unless beaten to shit

im not sure even if the ultrabooks are their proper separate line now or just added marketing tag on certain models (im no expert on them either)

but generaly said where as lenovos are more IT favored devices, HP ones are for accountting/sales staff

got him the T440S

it comes with a 1080p screen

and a SSD

128 gb

and some i5 processor that's a stepup from the lower end T440S series

and 8 gb ram which is more than good enough for a few tabs
