I have a linux machine as well, but I usually just webbrowse on it
My windows server has been infinitly more enjoyable to use too.
Non-enterprise Linux users are the ultimate poorfag cope
What do you use your windows server explicitly for, though?
only run linoox on my thinkpad to stream anime in bed 😊
And it's a media server with my plex library as well as Occasionally hosting game servers on it
haven't found the need for running a server especially for plex etc
@Pawp You should see @Billy Yum Yum Two-By-Two 's Plex server
shit is wild
If I ever remember my plex login I will.
...Are you running a server you can't even personally access?
Also. I run a server because it has 8 drive bats
I laff
Bays
No matt
I use emby.
I have physical access to it
I launch Plex only to test when emby won't load a file right
Emby>plex

For my setup. It visually looks better. And is much easier to setup for my family. The UI on Roku works flawlessly
And it takes seconds to setup a new user so they can join for free
all I can remember from Plex is that their UI looks like absolute dogshit
especially on my LG webOS tv
Free emby >free plex
Emby looks super nice. It's crashed literally once on my Roku.
Super stable
is roku worth it if you already have a "smart" tv?
Yes
100%
How willing are you to kill your chickens
Built-in solutions generally suck megadick
If I'm giving my data away. I'd rather give it to Roku. Rather then risk my smart TV having a hidden mic or camera in it
Also my roku has been updated constantly
Like would you be sad for a while or will it be like killing a cat
muh privacy fag
Unlike my smart tv
I choke my chicken every day, John
i got nothing to hide
It's not even a privacy thing
