I've got over 350 (or was it 250?) apps that I've slowly gathered since late 2017. Just going through every one of them, one at a time. There's some good stuff in here. Some total trash, too.

For the most part, I went through F-Droid and gathered any app that looked interesting, but never actually tried most of them out.
