if your tester looked like this

and not like this

2019-09-29 15:19:30 UTC

that test doesn't really mean anything

2019-09-29 15:19:41 UTC

the only thing it tests if the cables are connected in the right order

2019-09-29 15:29:43 UTC

it did have a digital display but much simpler than the one in the 2nd pic

Is anyone here using a Mi TV box?

2019-09-30 15:44:16 UTC

bought one when xiaomi released them in stores in america.

2019-09-30 15:45:02 UTC

pretty much just a basic android tv box

2019-09-30 15:45:20 UTC

nothing special about it

2019-09-30 15:47:27 UTC

unless you’re doing HDHomeRun stuff or want to play games, i like using a Roku better

2019-09-30 18:54:09 UTC

Got one

2019-09-30 18:54:29 UTC

Kinda sucks that they dont have an ethernet port

2019-09-30 18:55:38 UTC

Yeah I thought they had a usb 3 but it's only usb 2

2019-09-30 18:56:05 UTC

I was planning of getting one so I can run plex on it

2019-09-30 19:33:54 UTC

holy~

2019-09-30 19:34:35 UTC

TLDR 10Tbps NICs in 4 yars

2019-09-30 20:14:20 UTC

finally amd bros

2019-09-30 20:14:22 UTC

our time has come

2019-09-30 20:14:25 UTC

pcie 4

2019-10-01 08:27:57 UTC

was the F-35 flying in combat configuration tho

2019-10-01 08:29:06 UTC

if its passive radar the stealth "angles" dont do shit and radar dampening material is so poor currently that it only makes it just tad bit harder to detect afaik

2019-10-01 08:29:52 UTC

as passive radar relies on other area radars to generate the waves and catches those what glance of the angles ?

2019-10-01 08:30:50 UTC

but i doubt the >fly home from airshow

2019-10-01 08:34:31 UTC

idk how good or not so good ECMs are for passive detection though

2019-10-01 08:34:33 UTC

german passive radar in general is quite impressive feat tbh i dont doubt that they can do that easily

2019-10-01 08:35:52 UTC

not that good mereck indeed

2019-10-01 08:36:39 UTC

like some smart man said "if it exists, it can be tracked" (that was from micrometeors iirc but anyway~)

2019-10-01 08:42:13 UTC

i wonder how easy its in general track planes (lets say by listening GSM-band pings) on non-wartime area where GSM etc towers are everywhere and their location is well known

2019-10-01 08:42:34 UTC

any false station rego/moving target would be easyish to spot ~ ?

2019-10-01 08:42:50 UTC

tho not that long reaching

2019-10-01 08:43:19 UTC

and for sure not working altitude reaching (tho then there is million other radars in the eu area what give you their pings :P)

2019-10-01 08:45:45 UTC

would not be suprised if VERA system would be able to track it too

2019-10-01 11:20:23 UTC

``“When the F-35 is not flying operational missions that require stealth — for example, at air shows, ferry flights or training — they ensure air traffic controllers and others are able to track their flight to manage air space safety,” Lockheed spokesman Michael Friedman wrote in a statement to Defense News. ``

Probably had MS squitters enabled (or at least MS enabled) so you could track it on Flightradar24

2019-10-01 11:33:02 UTC

> the company says it started tracking them and collecting data, using signals from the planes’ ADS-B transponders to correlate the passive sensor readings.

2019-10-01 12:00:32 UTC

what would happen if you put a charger into a non charging usb c on a laptop

2019-10-01 12:01:45 UTC

nothing

2019-10-01 12:01:49 UTC

at least nothing happened on my laptop when i did

2019-10-01 12:03:00 UTC

if the charger is properly designed as is laptop nothing should happen yeah
