2019-08-19 19:05:29 UTC

For this price? yeah

2019-08-19 19:05:32 UTC

really only question is how reliable/safe the charging circut is lol

2019-08-19 19:05:50 UTC

sst 20 for more throw, sst 40 for more light

2019-08-19 19:22:39 UTC

none of the usb-c flashlight reviews ive looked at tell me if they actually use any special charging protocol

2019-08-19 19:22:52 UTC

it could just be rinky dinky usb1.0 5v

2019-08-19 19:27:41 UTC

I have never charged any of my flashlights with the on board charging

2019-08-19 19:28:08 UTC

If I'm camping or such, I have no means other than a powerbank, which is dedicated to my phone, and I carry spare cells

2019-08-19 19:28:12 UTC

Besides, this isn't a 18650 flashlight

2019-08-19 19:28:16 UTC

So no ez cheapo cells for you

2019-08-19 19:28:58 UTC

just buy a 21700 and charge it using the built in charger

2019-08-19 19:29:02 UTC

???

2019-08-19 19:29:27 UTC

not everyone is an autist, im just looking for a usb-c rechargeable flashlight with literally any kind of fast charging technology

2019-08-19 20:20:05 UTC

The QC tech probably costs more than the rest of the flashlight

2019-08-19 20:57:46 UTC

Ladies and gentlemen of the jury, I don't use a mic much right now, but was thinking of starting to talk more in the future. Is it a retarded idea to get a bm800 now, and hang onto it for later?

2019-08-19 20:58:50 UTC

yeah bm800 or nw3u

2019-08-19 20:59:03 UTC

(nw3u is better)

2019-08-19 20:59:56 UTC

Do you mean it sounds better, or is easier to implement because it's USB?

2019-08-19 21:02:55 UTC

id say both but specialy the later one

2019-08-19 21:03:02 UTC

no need for phantom and other bullshit

2019-08-19 21:10:56 UTC

kk, thanks for weighing in.

2019-08-19 21:11:10 UTC

wonder if its ever gonna come back to aliexpress at its original price

2019-08-20 00:23:07 UTC

@Windatica It probably charges slow as fuck, but it's also only claiming it draws 10w

2019-08-20 00:25:03 UTC

Depends on how you're using it really. If you want something you can charge up fast every day from a solar cell, or something incredibly waterproof and resilient, this ain't it, but it's probably a pretty good flashlight. 1600lm is nice, the LEDs used are nice, you actually have reasonable color temp choices.

2019-08-20 00:28:43 UTC

@Julian Buy the light, IMO
