@Tribit Same.
Maybe there's fake Liitokala batteries
There's fake Xiaomi stuff too
The wrapping was different, and the vent holes on top were different on the 30Qs. I didn't do much verification on the VTC6, they looked different than my legit ones, but I didn't hunt down every spec online to confirm since I had received other fakes in the same order.
>when chinese companies get mad at people copying their copies of an original product
aside from physical structure, check resistance
and weight
@Tribit What do you mean fake Liitokala? Liitokala batteries ARE the fake ones. They try to make them pass as 30Qs
fakes will have higher internal resistance and ligther weight
Protip - to measure max current, short the cell with your multimeter in current mode!
Works best if you replaced the fuse with a metal bolt

"bite into it"
The lighter weight thing kinda varies. Sometimes they will for REALLY shitty cells, because they're actually hollow with a tiny cell inside. The Liitokala were actual 18650s, good ones, just not the good ones I ordered.

actually my meter is only rated for 10A DC
Lol
Consider the knock offs more eco friendly dude. Less lithium mined from our earth
Same. Think a Fluke 87 would survive? I've got an 87 IV if not...

This time last year it was Sony VTC6 as king of high draw, close second to Samsung 30Q, LG HG2 were good for capacity at decent draws, and I dont recall for 18350 or 16350.
I use hg2 now
Can check later. Whatever AAA equivalent was too.
Hey does anyone know how I can get AliExpress to stop recommending me a shit ton of porn toys?
