Type C is only the connector. Not the port. Like Thunderbolt is not in phones but Macbooks and Razer Blades Laptop's where you can connect E-gpu's and Screens

the problem I have with micro-USB is the connector, they are absolute garbage, I've never had a micro-USB cable that didn't break after around 8 months of use or so

regular USB, mini-USB and USB type C are much, much better
