But I like other mythos right now
the Bible is not myth though, it is 100% real
Yeah I know that's why I reference my greek irish norse etc, as mythos
kinda iffy on the old testament
why so?
What's the deal with Job
are you guys talking about the roman trinity?
don't know what that is
the 6th century athanasian creed
the trinity
probably the reason why islam sprang up
which was the 7th century
the devil said to God, that Job would not be faithful if everything were taken from him, God knew this wasn't true, and allowed the devil to do bad things to Job, but, Job's faith prevailed over the hardships and God then rewarded Job for his Faith.
I didn't finish the chapter
so does that mean job got better in the end
😃 with God, it is always good.
I remmeber this one girl from the main hub
she was really interesting on the vc on religion
idk when I can get back to it though
you can voice with us
Judges 15:16
**Judges 15:16 - New Revised Standard Version (NRSV)**
```Dust
<16> And Samson said,"With the jawbone of a donkey, heaps upon heaps, with the jawbone of a donkey I have slain a thousand men."```
yes, because they killed his wife.
Exactly brother
Donkey bones are sturdy
A Donkey jaw bone is a formidable weapon
trump destroyed the democrats with the jawbone of an ass
outstanding
then he drank his water, with utmost flair
that's not water, that's America's tears.
Tears for a President that actually is standing up for Family Values
you follow that guy's doctrine?
or do you follow
Boo
@Bibleman It was an angel. Not the devil. An adversary angel. This angel was testing Job and not once went against Yehovah's commands. He did only what Yehovah allowed him to do.
Satan means job position Adversary in the Hebrew. It can not be the name of a person. Just not how Hebrew works.
There is a devil, don't give me that christadelphian saducee stuff
Not my point. It was only about the Old Testament and the word used Satan in many bibles. It is invalid. The Hebrew means job position Adversary. Not the name of a fallen angel or whatever.
In the New Testament it speaks of a Devil, Satan and so forth in the Greek.
Now if you include other books like Enoch then Satan as a fallen angel is there.
