You will always make an excuse, and a good one, because the devil is smarter than we are

2019-07-04 00:30:08 UTC

Sounds like he’s smarter than god

2019-07-04 00:30:23 UTC

Are you saying knowledge is dangerous

2019-07-04 00:30:49 UTC

God demands we have faith, then he casts his net on the right, not the left. He sends us spiritual signs that only we can see and only we can hear. Without faith, you will not see, and make excuses for every hint

2019-07-04 00:30:58 UTC

Like my wife was a very picky eater. She was very much into I want this and nothing more. So when she could eat again after six months of not being able to handle more than Ensure. I would fix things three or four times before that was OK. I never knew what would be OK. So I prayed. For two months God told me what to fix. She ate it. Every stinking time. No more two or three rejections. That could not be by chance.

2019-07-04 00:31:15 UTC

The devil isn’t that smart, it’s just we are idiotic

2019-07-04 00:31:28 UTC

Once again more power to ya I’m glad you found a way to process life

2019-07-04 00:31:39 UTC

Knowledge is power my guys

2019-07-04 00:31:50 UTC

I made sure I never told my wife I had prayed about it.

2019-07-04 00:32:00 UTC

Why not she should know why

2019-07-04 00:32:07 UTC

I’m sure she’d appreciate it

2019-07-04 00:32:36 UTC

I guess placebo effect

2019-07-04 00:32:42 UTC

She was freaked out. After two weeks she said. How can you know what I will like. Then I explained God was telling me what to fix.

2019-07-04 00:32:47 UTC

Then she’d hate it again

2019-07-04 00:32:48 UTC

Double blind tests and placebo are interesting

2019-07-04 00:33:13 UTC

The most effective ways to prove somethings actually doing what it’s intended to in a study

2019-07-04 00:33:35 UTC

An absolute blind test of is God telling me it.

2019-07-04 00:34:09 UTC

To be fair in a study, it might be doing what it is supposed to while a placebo effect also works

2019-07-04 00:34:18 UTC

That’s why placebos are interesting

2019-07-04 00:34:33 UTC

The body believes in something that isn’t anything

2019-07-04 00:34:49 UTC

You never know if it’s a placebo an actual effect or both

2019-07-04 00:35:03 UTC

The organizer of the study should know what’s happening in the study

2019-07-04 00:35:20 UTC

Yes. But this was impossible. I did not tell her till she asked after three meals a day for two weeks. Every one she liked without exception. Sometimes she could not eat much but she liked what she ate.

2019-07-04 00:35:29 UTC

Also that’s the point of the placebo the organizer knows which is which

2019-07-04 00:36:09 UTC

Yes but, even if they are taking the pill which helps, a placebo effect may be placed on top of that

2019-07-04 00:36:28 UTC

No that’s not how an experiment works

2019-07-04 00:36:42 UTC

So it would feel as intended for both placebo and real pills

2019-07-04 00:36:47 UTC

That’s why placebos are introduced

2019-07-04 00:36:56 UTC

And double blind tests

2019-07-04 00:37:07 UTC

Neither the proctor or patient would know which is which

2019-07-04 00:37:20 UTC

Yes if done properly no one knows what pill is what.

2019-07-04 00:37:20 UTC

Ah, see I didn’t factor in the double blind

2019-07-04 00:37:35 UTC

The point is to make sure no one knows and no external forces are at work

2019-07-04 00:37:43 UTC

So yeah

2019-07-04 00:38:54 UTC

Only the administrator and that is hidden from the one taking it and the one given it. Even the administrator may not know till after the test is done and then it is studied.

2019-07-04 00:39:57 UTC

Well steve, what do you mean by “fixing” her food

2019-07-04 00:40:21 UTC

As in removing/adding ingredients?

2019-07-04 00:40:31 UTC

Cooking or warming up some food. Several possibilities.

2019-07-04 00:41:04 UTC

And so “god” told you stuff like warm up her food?

2019-07-04 00:41:24 UTC

Sometimes a dozen or more. Hashbrowns, eggs with cheese or not rice on and on.

2019-07-04 00:41:54 UTC

Hmm, interesting
