So it would feel as intended for both placebo and real pills

2019-07-04 00:36:47 UTC

That’s why placebos are introduced

2019-07-04 00:36:56 UTC

And double blind tests

2019-07-04 00:37:07 UTC

Neither the proctor or patient would know which is which

2019-07-04 00:37:20 UTC

Yes if done properly no one knows what pill is what.

2019-07-04 00:37:20 UTC

Ah, see I didn’t factor in the double blind

2019-07-04 00:37:35 UTC

The point is to make sure no one knows and no external forces are at work

2019-07-04 00:37:43 UTC

So yeah

2019-07-04 00:38:54 UTC

Only the administrator and that is hidden from the one taking it and the one given it. Even the administrator may not know till after the test is done and then it is studied.

2019-07-04 00:39:57 UTC

Well steve, what do you mean by “fixing” her food

2019-07-04 00:40:21 UTC

As in removing/adding ingredients?

2019-07-04 00:40:31 UTC

Cooking or warming up some food. Several possibilities.

2019-07-04 00:41:04 UTC

And so “god” told you stuff like warm up her food?

2019-07-04 00:41:24 UTC

Sometimes a dozen or more. Hashbrowns, eggs with cheese or not rice on and on.

2019-07-04 00:41:54 UTC

Hmm, interesting

2019-07-04 00:41:55 UTC

Have you cycled through various plates over time

2019-07-04 00:42:49 UTC

You could have struck a lucky chord

2019-07-04 00:42:55 UTC

I did what I could to try to help her eat. I in no way complained when she did not like it and I had to fix another. I knew she needed to eat to survive. It was a lot of work. Usually the fourth would mean she would not eat.

2019-07-04 00:43:22 UTC

Was it picky or a serious eating disorder

2019-07-04 00:44:17 UTC

It was coming out of an eating disorder but she was always a picky eater. I had to be very careful with spices and such.

2019-07-04 00:44:52 UTC

Are you sure you aren’t an absolute culinary master

2019-07-04 00:45:00 UTC

Mostly just pepper, salt and garlic. Onions cooked.

2019-07-04 00:45:24 UTC

But spicy foods she sometimes liked.

2019-07-04 00:45:59 UTC

Chinese food she liked. Chilli on occasion.

2019-07-04 00:46:01 UTC

Seems like she finally broke her eating disorder

2019-07-04 00:46:06 UTC

Did you guys get professional help

2019-07-04 00:46:38 UTC

Yes it only lasted for two months. Then she went back to the norm and could eat what she had 8 months prior to her heart attack and stroke.

2019-07-04 00:47:01 UTC

Seems like her condition resolved naturally but may have been an antecedent to the heart attack and stroke

2019-07-04 00:47:55 UTC

Yes mostly the stroke. She never got fully out of it. Nerve damage was permanent in a hand and in her mouth. Very little feeling.

2019-07-04 00:48:14 UTC

Yeah strokes are devastating I’m sorry she went through that

2019-07-04 00:48:46 UTC

For two months she could not lift herself out of bed. I had to move her to the bathroom. It was six months before she was walking hardly at all.

2019-07-04 00:49:22 UTC

I’m sorry she went through that

2019-07-04 00:49:43 UTC

She needed a wheelchair for close to two years if it was much walking.

2019-07-04 00:50:17 UTC

Yes her last three years were very difficult on her. Lots of pain with nothing that would help manage it.

2019-07-04 00:51:50 UTC

The thing was. When I really needed God. God was there to help me. This made that very clear.

2019-07-04 00:52:21 UTC

That’s great to hear

2019-07-04 00:53:31 UTC
2019-07-04 00:53:56 UTC

It is more about what you were talking about.

2019-07-04 00:54:35 UTC

I still don’t know why god made it so that we all have different languages

2019-07-04 00:55:15 UTC

It’s no surprise that positive thinking and “placebo” works, it’s because fear and stress literally kill you. All the holes in your theories, all the things you can’t explain: it’s God, throwing a wrench in everything you think you know to constantly remind you that you don’t know anything about His creation

2019-07-04 00:56:03 UTC

That’s what the story of Moses is, an advanced society that thought it understood and controlled the world, and God sent a single man with a stick to show them how powerless they really were
