Haha yeah they're an interesting case

2019-02-17 08:08:58 UTC

They will find the truth. It will just take time, the Paradigm only has to shift so much before the rest of the folks just fall like dominoes

2019-02-17 08:09:07 UTC

@Jordan - MD ya I would constantly disagree with the professor and still got an A

2019-02-17 08:09:09 UTC

Like they have all the pieces of the puzzle but they're not putting it together

2019-02-17 08:10:08 UTC

@Current Ronin that's right. I used to be a liberal turned magapede. These things take time but someone actually looking for the truth will find it. I did.

2019-02-17 08:10:30 UTC

@Jacob it sounds like you had some pretty good arguments then, it's awesome that teacher was honest enough to be able to grade your paper on merit and not on political bias

2019-02-17 08:11:09 UTC

She seemed to be a free speech type

2019-02-17 08:11:18 UTC

@Jordan - MD oh dude for sure. I ran the poltical gambit like everyone else here I'm sure. I definitely didn't start off based and red pilled

2019-02-17 08:11:25 UTC

@Jacob from what I hear that's rare on a campus nowadays

2019-02-17 08:11:29 UTC

though it's also a fairly right wing campus, so she might have gotten in trouble if she tried something

2019-02-17 08:11:36 UTC

well, I'm in a red area

2019-02-17 08:11:59 UTC

she was definitely a leftist though

2019-02-17 08:12:07 UTC

Being a libertarian was kind of fun though haha

2019-02-17 08:12:37 UTC

I actually still have a lot of left over libertarian tendencies

2019-02-17 08:12:49 UTC

Libertarianism is a very valid stance in a homogeneous culture

2019-02-17 08:13:21 UTC

Unfortunately that is not what we have, but it can work when applied to a culture with similar customs and traditions

2019-02-17 08:13:46 UTC

There's a book out called white right and libertarian and I wanna check it out

2019-02-17 08:14:42 UTC

TDS had the author on and he seemed like a smart dude

2019-02-17 08:15:19 UTC

I still believe in a social pressure to maintain certain values that we hold dear, but I don't believe that social pressure in and of itself conflicts with a Libertarian government. As long as the government is strong enough to maintain the borders and defend the people that's what's important

2019-02-17 08:15:55 UTC

I mean why wouldn't you be able to maintain your culture in a libertarian society?

2019-02-17 08:16:10 UTC

Because of things like radical individualism, but again that's where social pressure comes in

2019-02-17 08:16:44 UTC

In an all white libertarian society there would be a ton of culture right?

2019-02-17 08:17:03 UTC

People could just be themselves

2019-02-17 08:17:30 UTC

well, we have to remember that the system we had in the past led us to where we are today

2019-02-17 08:18:00 UTC

so not *every* system works in a homogeneous society, because some of those systems lead us to situations like what we have right now

2019-02-17 08:18:18 UTC

we *did* have a homogeneous society, and the system we had destroyed it

2019-02-17 08:18:20 UTC

Hmm yeah I guess that's true

2019-02-17 08:18:37 UTC

So it would have to be nationalist libertianism?

2019-02-17 08:18:49 UTC

If that's not an oxymoron haha

2019-02-17 08:18:54 UTC

@Jacob that's right, and a lot of that was due to manipulation of the media, although the media impacted our culture and mitigated a lot of those previously held social pressures that prevented people from being so openly degenerate for lack of a better term.

All I'm saying is that we need to retain a sort of social pressure in order to maintain a homogenous culture

2019-02-17 08:19:20 UTC

And that I still think that falls in line with a libertarian government because social pressures are not necessarily laws

2019-02-17 08:19:22 UTC

@Current Ronin I don't know if capitalism is sufficient to prevent situations like what we have today

2019-02-17 08:19:27 UTC

even if there is a veneer of nationalism

2019-02-17 08:20:31 UTC

I think I liked libertianism because i always had issues with authority figures. Teachers, bosses, whatever. I hated being told what to do if it was something I wasn't passionate about or disagreed with

2019-02-17 08:20:37 UTC

I'm not super hardcore on this and I don't think it's worth creating division in the movement over, but I think it's worth looking into

2019-02-17 08:26:42 UTC

I do believe that capitalism can contribute to the degradation of society. Some people are perfectly content to profit off the people that they should be caring about even if that profit made means harm to the society.
e.g. Big Pharma
I think that although a society should strive to make money, it should do so with the well being of its people in mind first.

2019-02-17 08:27:04 UTC

I'm not blatantly anticapitalistic by the way, I'm just saying that I understand some criticisms of it.

2019-02-17 08:27:46 UTC

Good luck making that work in america right now. We live in a continent sized shopping mall

2019-02-17 08:27:48 UTC

I'm becoming more anti-capitalist over time but I mean I consider anyone who wants to create and preserve white homelands to be an ally

2019-02-17 08:28:43 UTC

@Current Ronin I totally agree with you, we've been sold out and sold out so many times I don't even know who we're owned by anymore (I do tho)

2019-02-17 08:29:04 UTC

Oh..we all know haha
