The Paradigm is shifting. We are growing in support more and more. Average people see these things and are fed up with being told to feel guilty for who they are.
Yeah Taco Bell is bangin though
I know our camp thinks magapedes are stupid but it really shows that there are a lot of people that are sick of all the poz when you see tens of thousands of people at his rallies
Honestly I think of magapedes as uninitiated identitarians. It's like they're unaware of what they already know.
Haha yeah they're an interesting case
They will find the truth. It will just take time, the Paradigm only has to shift so much before the rest of the folks just fall like dominoes
@Jordan - MD ya I would constantly disagree with the professor and still got an A
Like they have all the pieces of the puzzle but they're not putting it together
@Current Ronin that's right. I used to be a liberal turned magapede. These things take time but someone actually looking for the truth will find it. I did.
@Jacob it sounds like you had some pretty good arguments then, it's awesome that teacher was honest enough to be able to grade your paper on merit and not on political bias
She seemed to be a free speech type
@Jordan - MD oh dude for sure. I ran the poltical gambit like everyone else here I'm sure. I definitely didn't start off based and red pilled
@Jacob from what I hear that's rare on a campus nowadays
though it's also a fairly right wing campus, so she might have gotten in trouble if she tried something
well, I'm in a red area
she was definitely a leftist though
Being a libertarian was kind of fun though haha
I actually still have a lot of left over libertarian tendencies
Libertarianism is a very valid stance in a homogeneous culture
Unfortunately that is not what we have, but it can work when applied to a culture with similar customs and traditions
TDS had the author on and he seemed like a smart dude
I still believe in a social pressure to maintain certain values that we hold dear, but I don't believe that social pressure in and of itself conflicts with a Libertarian government. As long as the government is strong enough to maintain the borders and defend the people that's what's important
I mean why wouldn't you be able to maintain your culture in a libertarian society?
Because of things like radical individualism, but again that's where social pressure comes in
In an all white libertarian society there would be a ton of culture right?
People could just be themselves
well, we have to remember that the system we had in the past led us to where we are today
so not *every* system works in a homogeneous society, because some of those systems lead us to situations like what we have right now
we *did* have a homogeneous society, and the system we had destroyed it
Hmm yeah I guess that's true
So it would have to be nationalist libertianism?
If that's not an oxymoron haha
@Jacob that's right, and a lot of that was due to manipulation of the media, although the media impacted our culture and mitigated a lot of those previously held social pressures that prevented people from being so openly degenerate for lack of a better term.
All I'm saying is that we need to retain a sort of social pressure in order to maintain a homogenous culture
And that I still think that falls in line with a libertarian government because social pressures are not necessarily laws
@Current Ronin I don't know if capitalism is sufficient to prevent situations like what we have today
even if there is a veneer of nationalism
I think I liked libertianism because i always had issues with authority figures. Teachers, bosses, whatever. I hated being told what to do if it was something I wasn't passionate about or disagreed with
I'm not super hardcore on this and I don't think it's worth creating division in the movement over, but I think it's worth looking into
I do believe that capitalism can contribute to the degradation of society. Some people are perfectly content to profit off the people that they should be caring about even if that profit made means harm to the society.
e.g. Big Pharma
I think that although a society should strive to make money, it should do so with the well being of its people in mind first.
I'm not blatantly anticapitalistic by the way, I'm just saying that I understand some criticisms of it.
