Faith is defined as "pistis" in Hebrew.
I'm just saying
I'll elaborate on that later.
You can't prove it
No, I'm talking to Dew
He keeps saying "I'm falling into temptation"
even if heaven and God were not real, resisting temptations is still a good idea. the fact that you wont even try proves that it is not the spiritual realm that matters to you, but what you refuse to give up
Disregarding my theistic world view.
And who says we are all delivered into temptation?
Let he who is without sin, cast the first stone.

Favorite quote.
I wonder why no stone was thrown
HMMMMMMMM
they will write essays defending their temptations but they will never resist them. comparing grass without even going to the other side of the fence
I have had a number of sins in my life I tried to beat over and over again and could not do it. The minute I prayed to God and asked him to help me because I was not equal to the task, I was not strong enough. The very next day almost two years later, I still have not repeated that sin. It was like something reached inside of me and ripped that desire away from me. I did NOT do this on my own, God strengthened me.
What did she do cheat?
I forgot
Just my two cents friends
That's one case, a lot of people have overcome these temptations without God.
Spirituality without a God is also an alternative which has worked very well for bhuddists
it is disheartening to see the same demons make the same arguments through every person I tell this to. Resist. Temptation. And. You. Will. See.
Many Christians have similar stories to @Brian (Fourth Amendment)
Yes, I'm not saying it doesn't work for you, it works differently for everyone.
But to say that God is necessary is a huge claim .
True
Especially with no evidence.
He never said he did
He said it helped him
Neither of you have tried, I can see it clearly. You are just like we were before the Spirit
I'm talking about Dew
@Abe Lover Does this change the truth of what I am saying? If anything it would seem to prove my point.
Your truth is a subjective truth.
you keep saying no evidence, but have you seen the complexity of nature? the whole "no God" claim insinuates that a tornado moving through a junkyard would make a Boeing
words words words
People turn to athiesm because God lets them down, and they find peace alternatively
@Brian (Fourth Amendment) I agree with your story
people turn to atheism purely for selfish reasons
I am intriguied with what your sin was
