2019-05-11 19:03:51 UTC

with memes i cant look it up later, go through the paper, and come to my own conclusion

2019-05-11 19:03:57 UTC

since any images of the earth from space are debunked as cgi

2019-05-11 19:04:02 UTC

@Deleted User our pictures are actually real

2019-05-11 19:04:08 UTC

2019-05-11 19:04:09 UTC

Not of you understand a simple thing called perception, refraction and visual displacement

2019-05-11 19:04:09 UTC

*prove it*

2019-05-11 19:04:15 UTC

"oh believe us guys"

2019-05-11 19:04:15 UTC

And NASA admits their own pictures are fake

2019-05-11 19:04:15 UTC

Our pictures are not data composites or CGI

2019-05-11 19:04:21 UTC

can I get a uh

2019-05-11 19:04:22 UTC

anyone here still think they live on a cartoon? - Robert Simmon - AKA Mr. Blue Marble
Data Visualizer and Designer Robert Simmon never thought that he would become “Mr. Blue Marble.”
My role is to make imagery from Earth sciences data. I turn data into pictures.

Crafting the Blue Marble
To make the Earth look realistic, or at least how I imagined the Earth would look, I needed to do some work.
https://earthobservatory.nasa.gov/blogs/elegantfigures/2011/10/06/crafting-the-blue-marble/
Compositing separate images into a convincing whole is (of course) easier said than done. Even with control of each layer in my image processing software (Photoshop) it took hours of tweaking and re-tweaking transparency, layer masks, hue, saturation, gaussian blur, and curves to get an image that looked like the picture I had in my head.

2019-05-11 19:04:43 UTC

also I think your images are just misunderstood science

2019-05-11 19:04:59 UTC

AAaaa

2019-05-11 19:05:01 UTC

😎

2019-05-11 19:05:02 UTC

NASA admits it’s composite images with photoshop
Not real images

2019-05-11 19:05:07 UTC

im pretty confident the blue marble picture was taken in the early 70s

2019-05-11 19:05:08 UTC

Oh my God kitchen knife you should really really stay away from knives your danger to yourself

2019-05-11 19:05:11 UTC

2019-05-11 19:05:23 UTC

DAME TU COSITA OH OH

2019-05-11 19:05:23 UTC

2019-05-11 19:05:30 UTC

Haha

2019-05-11 19:05:31 UTC

spliced together

2019-05-11 19:05:33 UTC

No they do not take images and slice them together you are wrong they take data streams and splice them together which are not pictures
