that's the best idea i've ever heard
@Drover Tom i take it you served then?
also fake army
Considering going OCS Air Force after I graduate though rather than Army
I don’t really like the military all that much
really anything + tracksuit works best tbh
I miss the way the military used to be
I got a medical discharge (not permanent) and its weird because when I was in it, I didn't like it all that much, but now being out I kinda miss it.
should've joined the French Foreign Legion instead of going to college where I'm bored to death
could've changed your name to Pierre
i suppose i could always just go join them anyways, but then i couldn't come back
@DixieBoy76 - KY yo I found someone
my great uncle is on a few public family trees
im not sure on Lana's(Red Ice) most recent video, kinda weird to look at
@Jacob I have an update too
I found someone born in 1670’s in Rappahannock, Virginia
looks like you're further back than me but I'm making progress
found a guy born in 1867
The furthest I made it back was like the 15th century on my tree
How do I view other people’s?
Do I have to buy the full thing
My English side go back to the 1750s in the US. My grandfather did a bit of research and said he was able to trace us back to Norfolk, VA.
Got back to 1280 in the HRE
@DixieBoy76 - KY I got the free trial lmao
I feel like I’m probably too retarded to figure out the family tree thing
I don’t want to accidentally climb someone else’s family tree
dude I'm a brainlet myself and I figured it out
Interdasting 🤔
@Lawrence of Eurabia French foreign legion hates americans, it's basically only for poor slavs
@Mr Snow Greetings from Norfolk VA then lol
1750's Maritime WASPs I take it?
@Sam Anderson I believe so. My grandfather is half English/Scot. Funny, he said that there were ethnic tensions between the two groups in the community that led his great (great great) grandfather out west with his Scot wife to get a plot of land in Arkansas.
We were, uh...."cotton farm owners" in the 1840s
Yeah you drive through rural Hampton VA and you see the remnants of that tho. Small towns filled with Blacks and rural areas of White farmers.
Had some good fun watching Indian Sunoco owner argue with a Black about stealing a cigarello for 10 mins.
Yeah. So my roots are in the Midwest. Arkansas, MO, and my matrilineal side all Germans from Wisconsin.
Feels great to be back in the Midwest after the military too. That sense of rootedness is so important, even regionally within America.
@Sam Anderson yeah I'm sure that's what our founding fathers meant when they talked about establishing a country for their posterity.
Turning it over to Indians and blacks
@nord American army hates Americans
