faith in the globe
Not perception
Ah, so therefore, nothing truly exists
Atoms do not exist because you never experience them?
That's not at all what I'm arguing
Yes it is
Why are you trying to link the two?
Is not
you argued that "It's what I perceive, therefore it's true"
I would appreciate it if you stopped presuming things of me
I never said that
"I do not perceive or experience the curve, therefore the curve does not exist"
Stop
Now
Never said that
yes you did
Post it
Now
Or you're gone
we haven't even gotten there yet. we're just starting with what is observed, and you simply can't be intellectually honest and admit it's flat
I will not tolerate lies
you said it, not me
And you used the word perceived
so you're basing your reality only on what you can experience and perceive
Which I did not
by your own logic, things you do not experience, cannot exist.
You're basing your reality on something you cannot replicate and see for yourself
observably flat does not mean it's flat. it just means that's what we observe in our day-to-day. if you want to get to the meat of it that's ok but you're not accepting the basic premise that it looks flat yet you think it's a sphere
So who's reality is closer to actual reality?
Mine holds true to experience
Yours is a belief
That you have **NOT** experienced
Bravo with that logic
@RidleyChozo You are making an argument from ignorance, and completely basing your belief system on your perceptions.
no that's the start. it's not the basis of my knowledge. it's what I observe.
You say "observably flat does not mean flat", yet that's exactly what you're arguing.
no it's not
When did I say that?
I'm trying to get you to admit it's observably flat but you can't
Again you're putting words in my posts
