you cant assume anything when weapons are seen

being the Captain of a Security Company i had to only draw my weapon a couple of times.. BUT IT WAS NESCESSARY .. there were multiple perps and a club was brought out.. i was alone.. i did what had to be done.. I went home that night 2 others went to jail

or at least use your phone in a HOT STOP

It is your right to film them.. anything in the public domain .. IT IS THE LAW

IF THEY TELL YOU TO STOP FILMIMG ... tell them " No sir" its my 1st amendment right

then ask for their NAME and BADGE number ..

they must give it to you.. its the Law

get the phone out the MINUTE you see the lights go on behind you.. BE PREPARED

it they become abusive.. you can ALWAYS say..." I would like a SUPERVISOR out here please" they must comply.

one other thing.. the moment you leave your VEHICLE they will try to handcuff you.. STAY IN YOUR CAR. ROLL THE WINDOW DOWN just a few inches and talk to them there. that way they cannot open your door and drag you out...

giving them an ID will help your cause.. but just slide it through the opening in the window DONT ROLL IT DOWN more than a few inches

and yes .. you must turn your cars engine off.. or they will think you will BOLT.. if you want it go to well for you.. i suggest you listen to those tips

I was asked to unarm myself and de-chamber a pistol I had with me during a traffic stop, "For his safety and my own."
I asked if he would do the same, he said no, so I said no.

I gave him a fair compromise of both of us unarming ourselves, removing the ammo, and placing each weapon on the hood and we could proceed to the trunk to conduct business so it would be fair ground.
He also declined this.
And so I remained armed.

a holstered weapon is your right to Bear Arms

with my CCW if i am stopped I MUST at least declare i have a pistol.. and where it is in the car or on my body..

I MUST at least declare i have a larger than average... personality

i always keep my hands on the steering wheel when approached.. then ask the officer if you can get your license and registration

the FIRST thing officers look for is either a cooperative person... or an antaganistic one.. he will then take it one way or the other

just get it over with and get him out of there as fast as possible

what if they're just highway patrol?

I mean, do you sweat all that just because you're being pulles over for having the wrong sticker on your plate??

you can fight your ticket in court.. but do not fight the cop on the highway.. its a losing battle
