If you are looking for curvature you need to have a decent field of view with the camera

You guys keep posting these shots which wouldn't show curvature even though there actually was curvature

@Derek Nelson And the one high FOV shot there is with the center of frame positioned way below center so if there is any barrell distortion it's going to straight out any potential curvature

yeh, the only problem with the vid, and what the FE people will point out, is that it shows the same curvature when just taking off

The actual landscape has to be ever so slightly below center of frame so you rule out lens distortion

@Derek Nelson the image you posted above about the earths spin and orbit ect., have you ever calculated the forces that result from that compared to the force from gravity (assuming a globe model)

bc the forces from it are abut 4N

earths force from gravity is 100N
