My son wanted to set up a business. However it was impossible. So many requirements on paying employee fees to the state and many companies. Eventually instead he went in a larger business. Only working possibility.

My daughter works at a large heart care facility. To do so requires access to a computer program to work with insurance companies. It became so expensive the only option was to become a part of the Hospital.

The best thing about this was finally after 12 years of marriage the stress on her went way down and now she is pregnant. She will get 6 months of paternity leave and work at home almost totally.

sadly, most people have become incapable of doing things outside of the system to the point in which they think it is impossible even though it actually isn't.

Most Radio Stations are now owned by large corporations. Few private restaurants exist at this point. Few private stores. On and on.

If you can do it somewhere with few neighbors. Otherwise if something really bad happens your food will be stolen and you will be murdered if necessary to steal it. You make yourself a target.

it doesn't matter if you only have a few pots / receptacles on a porch / in a sun room etc. with few herbs / vegetables or a few fruit trees in your yard
