It is really hard ngl
Guyssss idk how to get out of this new memberrrr.. WHERE DO I GOOOOOO
I believe very little that I believed 8 years ago. And I am 66. For 58 years I stuck with beliefs and would not even question was I correct in those beliefs.
Yeah welp I'm 14 and my dad is a truther and I became a flat earthers when I was around 8
I figured people were stupid if they disagreed. Stupid thought process.
I feel like the odd man out lol.
I used to feel physical pain when hearing a point against my world view
Ppl ask me, Hey what are your believes, I say flat Earth and they just go off on me
If ain't a BELIEF it's a FACT you NORMIE
I so wish I had had the internet at 14. It was so limited back then. Libraries and such. I now know that what is in them is highly restricted.
So you're FE but your dad is not?
America burns books on a daily basis.
FE is not fact. It's just a very large misunderstanding.
Half of my local library is young adult
@GandalfTheGreen Doesn't the green wizard in LOTR have another name?
:smart
The irony

@GandalfTheGreen
Me and my dad are flat earthers
Missing a colon
Me and my dad believe in lots of stuffs
Most who are Flat Earth do believe the earth is flat and that is a easily proven fact.
My dad is voting for Bill deBlasio for president
@Rainbow Rose You shouldn't believe something just because your dad does. Mine believes that ketchup, mac and cheese and hotdogs are some kind of culinary masterpiece. They are not.
Still. Seems to me he has gone downhill.
24 is so many to compete against.
How much of mainstream history do you guys believe in
0
@PhoenixAshes I do alot of my own research, You can just say my dad started me on flat earth
Indo European Invasions?
No you should not believe just because dad does. However you might be better if you pretend to believe as he believes. You can learn a lot from an older person as well.
Some things in history might be disputed, but not everything.
I think it best to dispute it all. Question it all. Find out what really is true and what is not true.
For example, individual events in the Civil War, but not the entirety of the Civil War.
@Steve Angell but isn't that how we all start out? most religious people are born into it and then grow up believing it there whole life.
Flat earth literally passes the scientific method. That’s the method that determines proof. Where were any of you when this method was the crowning achievement of atheism 10 years ago? Now that it doesn’t actually back their beliefs, all of sudden people treat the method like some dog they don’t want anymore.
i have been a history buff my entire life, but i have to admit the mainstream narrative has a lot of things that dont make much sense. I get the impression we’re just being led along with breadcrumbs, they hide so much stuff that its hard to trust them.
@Rainbow Rose Indeed. But we should question it. I was born into a church and had to wait 60 years to seriously question it. I wish I had questioned it more long ago.
@Morning Dew anything specific?
@Steve Angell So what was it that "woke" you up?
