**Luke 10:25-28 - King James Version (KJV)**

```Dust
<25> And, behold, a certain lawyer stood up, and tempted him, saying, Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life? <26> He said unto him, What is written in the law? how readest thou? <27> And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself. <28> And he said unto him, Thou hast answered right: this do, and thou shalt live. ```
you can partake of these things without “getting drunk”
2019-06-22 02:11:54 UTC
yeah posting the same stretched justification and ignoring everything i said
2019-06-22 02:11:59 UTC
yeah, even in Jewish ceremonies wine is used
2019-06-22 02:12:07 UTC
like passover
2019-06-22 02:12:34 UTC
Even Jesus drank wine. Of course he was not ruled by it.
2019-06-22 02:12:43 UTC
please note though, that wine used to be much weaker back then
2019-06-22 02:13:00 UTC
you’re wrong bro, its not what you partake, its how you partake. dedicate it to god, don’t do so much that you become drunk, and its fine. this is coming from someone who doesn’t drink or smoke, i have researched this
2019-06-22 02:13:44 UTC
I mean using the bible to justify drinking wine is kinda a stretch isn't it?
2019-06-22 02:14:00 UTC
i think he's justifying moderation.
2019-06-22 02:14:10 UTC
yeah basically
2019-06-22 02:14:22 UTC
I'm talking about drinking wine in general
2019-06-22 02:14:35 UTC
drinking wine in itself isn't evil.
2019-06-22 02:15:00 UTC
I just posted like 5 verses that justify moderation specifically, just sayin
2019-06-22 02:15:33 UTC
I know drinking wine is fine at least bibically but I still won't partake in any type of drinking
2019-06-22 02:15:44 UTC
thats fine
2019-06-22 02:15:58 UTC
we never said you have to
2019-06-22 02:16:01 UTC
neither do I unless I’m offered wine at dinner, its impolite to reject what is offered
2019-06-22 02:16:13 UTC
pretty much
2019-06-22 02:16:13 UTC
Are any debates going on now?
2019-06-22 02:16:26 UTC
Respectful dialogue atm.
2019-06-22 02:16:47 UTC
So, back to the start. Is smoking weed a sin?
2019-06-22 02:16:55 UTC
Yes
2019-06-22 02:17:02 UTC
yeah.
2019-06-22 02:17:03 UTC
I think
2019-06-22 02:17:31 UTC
I'm pretty sure it falls under some type of religious-no nos
2019-06-22 02:18:04 UTC
sometimes in the bible, the word sorcerer is connotative of drug user
2019-06-22 02:18:18 UTC
old english.
2019-06-22 02:18:29 UTC
seems like a stretch to me
2019-06-22 02:18:38 UTC
I find that if a person uses it the same way they would a glass of wine, thankful for it, I would not want them to feel guilty for it. And yes, sorcerers often use drugs. But we are talking about a plant.
2019-06-22 02:18:48 UTC
there are translations i have read that back my claim
2019-06-22 02:19:26 UTC
It's not the fact that it's a plant but you can do something with that plant which alters how you are thinking isn't that what Bibleman was expressing earlier?
2019-06-22 02:19:30 UTC
2019-06-22 02:19:39 UTC
find the original words used in greek or hebrew if you have confusion, translations are often innaccurate. i’m willing to hear your arguments, i have no personal stake in this
2019-06-22 02:19:41 UTC
You got it, Z.
2019-06-22 02:19:51 UTC
