Definetly seen your type

2019-07-09 06:18:58 UTC

let them keep going, i don’t want to prevent their egos from being stroked, afterall its why they’re here

2019-07-09 06:19:09 UTC

mate you gotta cool it with the attacks

2019-07-09 06:19:13 UTC

we're just trying to debate

2019-07-09 06:19:16 UTC

I ask rhetorically since i know there is no experiment to prove what they claim

2019-07-09 06:19:28 UTC

@mineyful don't, he's baiting with ad homs.

2019-07-09 06:19:30 UTC

Explain what you mean by "refract downwards in air"

2019-07-09 06:19:37 UTC

yeah lots of loaded questions and ad hom

2019-07-09 06:19:50 UTC

He's a sophist, no suprise

2019-07-09 06:20:03 UTC

a person who reasons with clever but fallacious arguments.

2019-07-09 06:20:18 UTC

I'm gonna head out now you guys have fun

2019-07-09 06:20:42 UTC

“standard refraction” implies downward refraction. not only do you not have an experiment to prove this, but you contradict the equation by implying that it can actually refract in the opposite of what is “standard” and taken for granted in every equation. by all means, continue projecting sophistry onto me

2019-07-09 06:21:18 UTC

As much as I try I cannot find a standard refraction definition, do you mind linking a source

2019-07-09 06:21:38 UTC

I know you've already run away from our debate but in the end you've made no substantial claims besides using a strawman to argue and the consistent ad homs. So mate, you're a sophist.

2019-07-09 06:21:41 UTC

can’t wait for more words that aren’t A)an experiment or B)an explanation for why you just contradicted yourself

2019-07-09 06:22:18 UTC

you think i care if you write more essays about how you’ve won? go ahead, yours in the only ego that needs to do such vain things

2019-07-09 06:22:35 UTC

link source please

2019-07-09 06:23:14 UTC

@mineyful 7/6*R

2019-07-09 06:23:19 UTC

and i'm still trying to find out your arguemnt

2019-07-09 06:23:22 UTC

what does that even mean

2019-07-09 06:23:29 UTC

Not writing essays, merely pointing out your fallacious style of debate. Another ego remark too, unsurprisingly.

2019-07-09 06:23:37 UTC

It's the molar mass constant?

2019-07-09 06:23:40 UTC

meta discussion, thats what you’re doing

2019-07-09 06:23:43 UTC

Hai

2019-07-09 06:24:02 UTC

That's far from a source it's just a term by itself with no context

2019-07-09 06:24:23 UTC

Show. Me. An. Experiment. Which. Proves. Light. Refracts. Downward. As. 7/6*R. Implies. Or. You. Have. Lost. The. Debate.

2019-07-09 06:24:30 UTC

What is 7/6R

2019-07-09 06:24:34 UTC

where is it coming from

2019-07-09 06:24:38 UTC

what is its name

2019-07-09 06:24:42 UTC

and how did you derive it

2019-07-09 06:25:42 UTC

Atmospheric refraction

2019-07-09 06:25:46 UTC

look up the term “standard atmospheric refraction” and don’t waste time in a discussion you’re not qualified to have. i already know you don’t have an experiment, i just wanted to see how long you’d stroke your egos

2019-07-09 06:26:02 UTC

apparently for hours

2019-07-09 06:26:14 UTC

It's an approximation on the perceived effects of refraction on earths apparent curvature.

2019-07-09 06:26:29 UTC

I gave you a bunch of tries so it seems like you're not up for a semi-serious debate

2019-07-09 06:26:30 UTC

i'm heading off now

2019-07-09 06:26:40 UTC

If I had a dollar for every ego comment I could buy lunch

2019-07-09 06:26:51 UTC

you’ll write essays about how you’ve won a debate but never prove the assertion. as far as I’m concerned, finish your thesis. get the last word. find your climax so you can sleep at night. goodbye

2019-07-09 06:26:52 UTC

Atmospheric refraction is the deviation of light or other electromagnetic wave from a straight line as it passes through the atmosphere due to the variation in air density as a function of height.

2019-07-09 06:26:59 UTC

alright gn
